How to Get There
My husband and I stayed at Ka’ana for four nights in November. This hotel is top notch and the staff was so friendly and attentive especially Brandan and Miguel. We did several activities arranged by the hotel during our stay - horseback riding to Xuantunach, guided tour to Tikal, cave tubing and a traditional Mayan cooking class. All were wonderful. We stayed in a basic room and while we were out one day doing an activity there was an issue with a waterline on the back patio outside the room. The staff graciously upgraded us to a gorgeous 2 bedroom villa with a private pool. The food onsite was great and I even got a massage at the little spa onsite which was great after a long day of traveling. Highly recommend!!!
We were looking for a nice place near the ruins and other areas we wanted to explore in the area. Ka Ana exceeded all expectations. The rooms were well decorated, clean, and modern. The service was amazing. The grounds were lovely. The drinks at the bar were unique and amazing. I'm used to staying at top flight hotels and this one just blew me away.
I loved our short stay at Ka'ana. They truly go above and beyond for you. I'm huge on customer service and they surpassed all levels of excellence. They made us feel warm and welcomed and like a part of their family. From the room service to the restaurant and tours they set up, they were always ahead of you. I wish we stayed longer.
We loved our time at Ka'ana! It was so relaxing and quiet on site, the food was unbelievable, and even better were all the staff and tour guides we had a chance to meet and get to know. The rooms were super comfy and the amenities great as well. The staff were very helpful in booking transport and activities both before our arrival and once we were on site, even booking us a trip the day of when the weather caused an unexpected change in our plans. We had so much fun touring the Mayan ruins and cave tubing. Special shout-out to one of the amazing guides, Andy, who took us on two trips. Each day we looked forward to coming back for a delicious cocktail and relaxing meal. Belize has so much to offer, we can't wait to go back for another trip and hope to stay at Ka'ana again. Definitely will recommend to our family and friends. Perfect place for anyone looking for adventure and sight seeing with the comfort of a luxury resort when you come back home. The organic garden and sustainable practices were an added benefit!
We visited slightly out of season. We found few exciting things to remember. Good rooms, nice pool but very average food en not very attentive staff in the restaurant. The hotel has no specific place with a view, but serves as a starting point for trips in the Cayo district.
There are options for diner downtown. Crave serves good beef
