Gorgeous Respite in San Ignacio.
Reviewed 1 day ago

Ka'ana is a beautiful property a few miles away from the hub-bub of San Ignacio and other popular adventure destinations in Belize's western jungle. All rooms/cabanas are wonderfully private and extremely comfortable. Service at the front desk, restaurant, bar, and spa is excellent. After we enjoyed our hiking excursion in nearby hills and cave, we relaxed by the lovely infinite pool area. Guests are well taken care of at Ka'ana. Its price is worth it.

Beach to Jungle - Amazing Stay at Ka'ana
Reviewed 4 days ago

Stayed at Ka'ana for 3 nights during the first week of March. Had an incredible experience and was very sad to leave.

First, I must talk about our experiences with the excursions. All excursions you arrange are private. We were partnered with Andy who ended up being with us for all of our excursions during our stay. He is amazing!!! So knowledgeable about the country, mayan history and wildlife. For excursions we did:

- Cave tubbing on the way from Belize City to the hotel (best stewed chicken with rice and beans was had on site here)

-Horseback riding to Xunantunich with private picnic on the river after

-Day trip to Tikal in Guatemala

With regard to the hotel: the bar and bartender, Josh, were amazing. The cocktails were well crafted and the wine list decent. The food and service were delicious. The portions are enormous though so beware! For breakfast you can chose to take in your breakfast in your room for no charge. Good options to be had - all fresh and homemade.

The room was very big with a sun room and a patio. The air conditioning (which was very needed) worked well. We were so relaxed during our stay here we didnt watch the TV but they provide one. The bathroom clean and well stocked with nice eco friendly products. Loved the handmade soap.

The staff from start to finish are amazing and the customer service superb. Every wish or question was greeted with a smile and they made everything so easy.

We were so busy on excursions so we didnt get to use the pool, but it was nice and had a waterfall.

The onsite gardens were incredible.

Really beautiful property. Cannot say enough wonderful things about our stay.

First time to Belize and the ATM caves
Reviewed 1 week ago

This is a small luxury resort in the jungle about an hour away from the ATM Caves. The staff was wonderful and very attentive. The rooms have luxury linens and are beautifully decorated. Only negative part is that you can hear the road from the beautiful restaurant.
Bar is wonderful with tasty cocktails and fun bird games.
Pool is small but clean, no bar service there.
Spa was nice and great therapists. We would recommend this hotel to our friends!

Paradise in Belize
Reviewed 2 weeks ago

My wife and our adult kids enjoyed 4 fabulous days at Ka'ana near San Ignacio in the jungle mountains of Belize. This is an A+ property with exceptional service. Our "butler" Lorena was incredible -- wonderful service with a warm smile. We stayed in the two bedroom villa which had its own private pool. While we had dinner reservations at several area restaurants, we opted to eat 3 of our 4 dinners at Ka'ana because the food and service was outstanding. Lots of great things to do in the area. The only drawback (for us) was the lack of any workout facility. We are told that they are adding a fitness room in the near future. We look forward to visiting Ka'ana again in the near future.

Perfect Paradise
Reviewed 2 weeks ago

Possibly the most well-organized operation I've ever experienced. Every detail. Every excursion. Every schedule. 100% perfect. All the people were phenomenal - butler, guides, drivers, reception, service staff. Gregarious, entertaining, accommodating, helpful, flexible. Every staff member knew us and addressed our party by first name. Truly exceptional people and place.
