Modern hotel
Reviewed 1 week ago

We spent a long weekend at The One Barcelona and were warmly welcomed by the reception team. All members of staff we encountered were friendly and very helpful. The room was very clean, warm and comfortable with everything required including plenty of toiletries, soft towels and a Nespresso coffee machine. However, the hotel is very modern and we thought lacked character but that might have been because it was so quiet. Drinks in the bar were very expensive although the cocktails were fab!! We didn't eat in the hotel but noted that the restaurant attached to the hotel is also very expensive. We had a lovely time though. Thank you.

Best hotel in Barcelona

I spent 4 nights in Barcelona and The One, thanks to their fantastic staff (in addition to their rooms, location, etc), made the stay an incredible experience. A big shout out to Clarisse - patient, friendly, and so helpful for all of us. Would definitely stay here.

Outstanding - a highlight of our trip

We loved our stay here and Barcelona in general - what a city!

TheOne is modern, spacious and has some of the most friendly staff you will find. Everyone we met from check-in, concierge and in the restaurant/bar were happy, helpful and friendly - makes such a difference. They have a great roof-top bar but the weather wasn’t kind.

The location was also ideal for us. It’s just off Passeig de Gràcia ... one of the main areas for shopping/eating/drinking, and an easy walk down to Gothic, La Rambla, or La Strada Familia. There’s an MRT nearby (Diagonal) if you need it, but we didn’t as Barca is such a great city to just wander around.

Hopefully we make it back one day!

Expensive drinks at 11€ for a glass of wine

We stumbled across the one’s rooftop bar as thought the views would be amazing. You can’t really see anything. In the sun it’s a great place to sit and soak up the sun though. The service was slow given we were the only people in there and a glass of cava and wine set us back approx 22 euros!! There are other wine bars in Barcelona where you can get a top notch glass of wine for 3/4 euros...
