How to Get There
Overall a good stay. Central location with metro station directly opposite so easy access around city. Famous Ramblas only a few minutes away, lot of other attractions and shopping all walking distance. Beach is 30-40 minute walk away (can use metro to shorten walk to 10 minutes or take 5-10 minute taxi for €8-10). Plenty of restaurants with different cuisines within walking distance.
Rooms nice enough - modern and clean. Good amenities (coffee, good range of toiletries including combs and shaving blades / creams). Bed comfortable although have had many even more comfortable. However a problem in the rooms was the noisy parquet flooring which resulted in significant noise from the guests on the floor above walking - quite disturbing to a proper nights sleep.
Breakfast nice with good variety of hot and cold food - nice dining room with TV screens and good ambience.
Small pool on the terrace with sauna, jacuzzi and sunbeds. However water in pool and jacuzzi cold.
I stayed in this hotel three nights for a business trip. The hotel room I stayed was not well maintained and not very clean, noisy, especially considered the 200€ per night price that I payed. The breakfast is quite ok but it does not offer lactose free alternative. The only good point about the hotel is the location. Overall not satisfied.
Great hotel, great location, room was great (bed was soooo comfy) and prices for room service extremely reasonable. The pool area was super clean and a nice way to relax after a lot of walking around and being in the sun all day. Staff was friendly (any time we walked through the lobby we were treated with smiles) we arrived before check in they held our bags and they were in our room by the time we returned to the hotel. The location was amazing two minute walk from Poble Sec (L3) off the metro. The hotel is surrounded by restaurants offering all types of cuisine, and a ton of shops. 15 min walk from Parc de Montjuic, 1992 Olympic stadium, and Castle Montjuic (take the cable car up to it). This was our favourite hotel stay during our trip, the location and amenities were just what we wanted.
TIP- DO NOT get breakfast at the hotel, go next door to the coffee shops 1.50 euro for croissant and a cup of coffee. Also there are a ton of markets near by, avoid mini bar fees by buying your own goodies and storing them in the fridge.
Great hotel..on a main Avenue with easy access to mass transit. Very friendly, helpful and attentive staff. Buffet breakfast package far exceeded my
expectations. They had local and International variety of food. Outdoor pool was great after a morning of sightseeing. Not large but nice to take a dep..jacuzzi was nice but water never got hot. Hotel and room was as pictured. Clean, appointed rooms. Would have given 5 stars if not for some slight shaBbiness.. nothing a little fresh paint couldn't fix . I Will go back .
Had one night in room 1- next to the restaurant on the ground floor. The staff had a great time in their back area I presume, speaking loud and with no regards to sleeping guests. Passed midnight i was still struggling to sleep. Thin walls, kitchen trollies driven back and forth outside my blocked window and the staff made my stay a complete waste of money.
