How to Get There
Choosing a hotel online is always a bit of a gamble. I enjoy hotels especially those with personality. Hotel Pulitzer was a wonderful find which was absolutely the perfect base for visiting Barcelona. Location is perfect and you can basically walk everywhere. The hotel has an exquisite and eclectic style. Hard to describe - the design is uniquely modern but in a very comfortable way. The artwork and styling throughout the hotel is outstanding. The lobby and bar are welcoming - the rooms comfortably but so well designed. The restaurant - bright and plant filled. The staff were all friendly and keen to please. Reasonably priced, this hotel is definitely a keeper and I look forward to returning.
First time visiting this hotel and have to say it was a great experience, the rooms were clean and tidy, only complaint would be the view was non-existent. Breakfast was included which was a bonus and pastries hit the spot in the morning.
Great hotel . Superb location , stylish spacious rooms. Great staff . Love the roof top garden. Can work there during the day in the shade and eat their in the evening . Will stay there again. Great value
My friend and I stayed at Hotel Pulitzer for a week. I cannot say enough how amazing this place was. The room was great, not too small as some described in other reviews. You are in a central location so no need to be spending time in the room its within walking distance to many things in the city. The bathroom is also a great size and everything very clean. The staff was super helpful and accommodating. They were always willing to help when asking a question and or provide guidance. Every person at the front desk was Great!! Food was also good, we had room service, ate in the restaurant downstairs as well as the rooftop. We felt very safe in the hotel being as we were 2 girls. My only complaint would be they are doing construction in the hotel so it got a little noisy later morning, but it did force us to get out of bed despite our hangover! Thank you to everyone at hotel Pulitzer for making our 1st trip to Barcelona amazing. I would def stay there again!!!
It's a perfectly located hotel in the heart of the city, and you can reach any sight, restaurant or shopping venue within a few minutes walking, even the Aerobus to the airport is very closeby. A big thank you to Julien and that lady from Argentina at the reception, both are great ambassadors of the hotel!
Rooms are rather small and empty but have no noise from the streets. The bath rooms have a beautiful and particular decor and are well equipped. Breakfast was really disappointing, so poor! Probably better to book a 'room only' rate and have breakfast outside, the buffet is very small and has nothing special arrangement to present or pastry to offer, rather Ibis style. They had just one or two staff members when the hotel was fully booked, even coffee, which took hours to arrive, was just basic filter coffee. On the other side, the lobby bar is a lovely place to meet and spend some hours with colleagues after a common working day, you will certainly enjoy those large sofas and urban design.
