Hotel Europark is not only within easy distance of the Catalan capital’s most visit-worthy sights, but it’s also just a 10-minute walk from Passeig de Gràcia – Barcelona’s big shopping street that’s filled with designer and high-street boutiques galore.
For city views and laid-back cool, there’s a spectacular year-round roof terrace and seasonal outdoor pool, which has made this place one of the coolest addresses in the city. You’ll also find a well-equipped fitness centre, a lovely glass-panelled mezzanine lounge for buffet-style breakfasts, and a relaxed bar that’s perfect for post-sightseeing tapas, snacks, sandwiches and drinks.

How to Get There
Stayed at Hotel Europark for 3 nights last week. Hotel is in a great location, you could walk to most places within a half hour or just get the metro, which is what we did.
Received a glass of Cava on arrival whilst checking in. Checking in went smoothly and the guys working at reception were friendly and helpful. The room was fabulous. It was an inside room, which did not bother me in the slightest. The beds and pillows were comfy and the shower was amazing! Room was very clean also.
Breakfast was nice, we paid for it one morning, there was a bit of variety. But you could tell the scrambled eggs were out for a while! Staff that morning were very nice and always had a smile on their faces.
It lashed rain one day and the female receptionist (sorry didn’t get her name) went outside to hail a taxi so that we could get to our tour at Camp Nou, as she couldn’t get the taxi company on the phone. To me this is going above and beyond for the guest, so thank you so much!
Didn’t go to the bar/pool/gym during my stay, so have no comment on this.
You definitely won’t be disappointed if you book this hotel. One of the best city hotels I’ve ever stayed in.
My husband and I traveled to Barcelona in June, meeting our 2 adult kids for a couple days before, and then again after, a Catalonian bike trip. We chose the Hotel Europark as our base of operations, as we wanted a boutique style smaller hotel, outside of the crazy tourist area and needed 2 rooms, one for just one night. On the computer, Europark was appealing with its rooftop bar and pool and ease of booking. In person, when we arrived, our expectations were beat! From the friendly and professional front desk staff (in particular Jonas--very helpful in many ways), to the lovely lobby and common areas, to our room. It was stylish, comfortable and incredibly well-appointed, with a beautiful balcony giving us rooftop views of the Mediterranean in the distance. The bed was very comfortable and our room was utterly quiet, so we had excellent sleeps to overcome our jet lag. While exploring the rooftop on our first afternoon, we met the lovely hotel manager, Asun Pareja. After a delightful conversation with her, we were joyfully surprised a little later that evening by a knock on our door--delivery of a bottle of cava with a personal note of welcome. It was perfect, when our kids arrived the next day, to celebrate and toast some collective family milestones. Recommendations by the staff for nearby restaurants and bars were spot on--we visited Betlem several times, and enjoyed dinner at Vivant. We loved the next door Mercat (breakfast stop each morning) and the stylish neighborhood in general. Though a little out of the "center" we easily walked all over town, down to the water and around the Born/Gotic neighborhoods, and had great access to regional trains and Metro. Eight days later, it was like coming back to family when we returned after our bike trip--we felt very welcomed by the staff and Asun came out to say hello and hear about our trip. Of special note, our daughter was in transit from the US to a new European job, so had a lot of luggage with her that the hotel stored for us while we were biking. This was a huge perk for us, for which we were very grateful. Highly recommend Europark, and would stay here again in a heartbeat!
We've stayed twice at the hotel (it would have been 3 times but the world cup was happening). The hotel and its people are wonderful. Just try it once and you will agree it is one of the best located hotels in Barcelona and accommodating as well.
The Hotel Europark definitely exceeded our expectations. Spacious rooms, beautifully appointed bathrooms and oh-so-comfy beds.
The entire team at the hotel was very friendly and efficient.
The hotel is perfectly located in the heart of Barcelona.
Thanks for the wonderful memories!
First and foremost a thanks to Ophelia and Marc at Reception for the welcome and continued advise, assistance and dialogue during stay. Most appreciated! Room, back facing had small balcony with great dusk views. Room was well appointed with amenities above expectations and a very comfortable bed.
Close to attractions of Barcelona without the crowds. When back, will stay again.
