The Lowdown

For those seeking big-city thrills in Barcelona, this sleek bolthole in the heart of the Eixample district has it nailed. Hotel Europark is not only within easy distance of the Catalan capital’s most visit-worthy sights, but it’s also just a 10-minute walk from Passeig de Gràcia – Barcelona’s big shopping street that’s filled with designer and high-street boutiques galore.
For city views and laid-back cool, there’s a spectacular year-round roof terrace and seasonal outdoor pool, which has made this place one of the coolest addresses in the city. You’ll also find a well-equipped fitness centre, a lovely glass-panelled mezzanine lounge for buffet-style breakfasts, and a relaxed bar that’s perfect for post-sightseeing tapas, snacks, sandwiches and drinks.
Courtesy of Barcelona-based interiors company Rosa Roselló, all of the guest rooms and suites are spacious, stylish and very spoiling, from the comfortable king-size beds to the statement-making monochrome décor, complete with lacquered woods, glass, stainless steel and avant-garde furnishings.

We had an amazing time at this hotel. We really liked the location and accommodations. We stayed in the penthouse and had an amazing view! We got little gifts each day! Really comfortable beds.

Some tips if you stay here: there is laundry across the street, cheap, instructions in English. You can take the renfe train from the airport (go to terminal 2) and get a T10 card and costs only 1 euro for the trip and take to Passeig de Gràcia and walk. You can the use the T10 card to get around by metro. The Gràcia station is just over a block away!

We had a lovely 2-night stay at Hotel Europark. The hotel is conveniently located with lots of restaurants and grocery stores nearby. The most outstanding part of the stay was the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. We were welcomed with a lovely glass of cava. The front desk person gave us great recommendations for dinners nearby. The staff at breakfast were super friendly. They told us about a mojito making class that they were offering for free in the evening. To top it off, the amenities were very good. The beds were very comfortable and the shower was great. Breakfast was delicious, with a wide array of choices. Check in and check out was easy. Overall, a great stay.
