How to Get There
Great hotel, great location , great people need l say more.Very accommodating to your requests and helpful with information. Very clean and tidy, the bed and bedding were so comfortable, slept like a baby! Will be back again.
Everything was perfect, i cannot complain about anything at all. Beds are so comfy and the style is amazing. People there are friendly and always available to help and assist. I know which hotel i will be in when i am in Barcelona
Just returned from a 3 night break at the Europark. Lovely welcome on arrival. Superior room , so just one level up from basic room, was on 7th floor with small balcony overlooking street. Large comfortable bed, chocolates on pillow, bathrobe and slippers and refillable shampoo, conditioner and shower gel in shower. Other toiletries such as toothbrush, comb, shoe shine can be requested at reception. Very clean, air conditioned and with free safe and small mini bar. Noise from street was very minimal and did not bother us at all. The breakfast was excellent! Lovely choice of eggs, sausage, tortilla, bacon, various cold meats and cheeses, nuts, cereal, freshly squeezed orange juice, cava and a great selection of cakes and pastries and very good coffee (thank you Aida). The service and welcome from Mario and the waitresses was genuine and friendly. Without a doubt this hotel warrants more than 3 stars and represents real value for money. There is a small pool and roof terrace. It is centrally situated a short walk from the Sagrada Familia with many surrounding bars and restaurants and is about 6 minutes walk from the Verdaguer metro station. Directions from the airport are on the hotel web site. We bought a Hola Barcelona travel card via internet prior to arrival and would recommend this. Easy to exchange at airport, 30 mins to city from terminal 1 then a line change to Verdaguer. I had never used an underground before and it was so simple. If I can do it anyone can! Can use many buses and some trains with pass too. Comfortable, well located, friendly staff and a superb breakfast. Easy 5 star review.
Even before our stay the couple of questions I sent via email were dealt with promptly.
The hotel is a 25 minute taxi ride from the airport and around 30 euros.
Upon our early arrival we were greeted by the friendly staff who let us leave our luggage with them gave us a map and pointed out places of interest.
We had booked a superior room with a balcony which over looked the main street. The room was clean, a good size with a huge bed not too much storage space but enough. Reasonable size bathroom with towels toiletries and a hairdryer. The wi-fi worked well and there was a PC with a printer in the lobby area which was handy for printing out tickets. There was a good selection of food for breakfast something for everyone. We didn't have a main meal there just a snack one afternoon which was fine. There is a pool on the roof which I didn't try out as even a sunny January is a bit to cool for a dip.
So many attractions are within walking distance we didn't have to use public transport. We did use a couple of taxis which are very reasonably priced and so easy to flag down.
At checkout they again let us leave our luggage before heading to the airport late afternoon.
I will definitely use this hotel again when I go back to Barcelona.
Spent 4 nights at Europark in early December and I am very satisfied with my stay there.
Perfect location for me as it is walk-able to many of the major attractions - 7 mins to Casa Mila and Casa Batllo, 15 mins to Sagrada Familia, and 20 mins to Barcelona Cathedral. The subway station and bus stops are only 2-3 walk from the hotel if you prefer a ride.
The room and bathroom are clean, functional and of adequate size. The bed is very comfortable. Good soundproofing as I heard nothing from the next door. It'd be good if the hotel could provide slippers.
Breakfast is satisfying with 3-4 hot items, cold cuts, fruits, cereals, juices, many variety of bread/pastry and yogurts. Not bored after my 4th breakfast.
Staff at the reception and the restaurant are friendly and attentive. A lady at the reception gave me good advice on where to go and to avoid at night (I'm a solo female traveler), another gentleman helped to book me a taxi to go to the airport at 5:30am.
I would probably stay there again for my next visit to Barcelona.
