The Lowdown

For those seeking big-city thrills in Barcelona, this sleek bolthole in the heart of the Eixample district has it nailed. Hotel Europark is not only within easy distance of the Catalan capital’s most visit-worthy sights, but it’s also just a 10-minute walk from Passeig de Gràcia – Barcelona’s big shopping street that’s filled with designer and high-street boutiques galore.
For city views and laid-back cool, there’s a spectacular year-round roof terrace and seasonal outdoor pool, which has made this place one of the coolest addresses in the city. You’ll also find a well-equipped fitness centre, a lovely glass-panelled mezzanine lounge for buffet-style breakfasts, and a relaxed bar that’s perfect for post-sightseeing tapas, snacks, sandwiches and drinks.
Courtesy of Barcelona-based interiors company Rosa Roselló, all of the guest rooms and suites are spacious, stylish and very spoiling, from the comfortable king-size beds to the statement-making monochrome décor, complete with lacquered woods, glass, stainless steel and avant-garde furnishings.

SUPERB HOTEL AND GREAT LOCATION
Reviewed 1 day ago

Just a Beautiful Hotel and amazing Staff and Great Breakfast and Room. It was a Belated Birthday present for my Wife and the Hotel decorated our Room for her. Centrally located within 5 to 10 minutes of most Tourist Sites either by Walking or Taxi/Metro. Noise level was the only problem i.e. Banging of Doors in the morning. Just need people to Control the Door on their Way In and Out of the Rooms

Wonderful stay

The Europark is well situated. Walking distance from Gaudi cathedral! Not too far from park Guell and a few blocks from Gracia
Everyone at the hotel was super nice and helpful. We had a comfortable room with a small balcony. The breakfast buffet was good. We highly recommend this small boutique hotel and will go back there in a future trip.

a quiet hotel on a busy street in the not so touristy part of town. it was very easy to access the rest of Barcelona. the staff at the front desk as well as the restaurant staff were very helpful with any requests for local information. there were many local restaurants not catering to the tourist crowd but to the neighborhood. our room had a small balcony but the door was very quiet so street noise was a minimum. the room door and the bathroom door were solid doors to also help keep the room very quiet and restful. breakfast was great, an easy way to start the day.

Fab review in good location

Great hotel, staff very friendly and helpful. Central location for a lot of the sites, easy to walk to most things of interest and metro station only 2 blocks away. Metro easy to use if you want to save your legs! Breakfast had vast choice of food and the patries were lovely.

Good hotel - nice pool / lounge area

Plus:
Nice design, although somewhat dark. Good enough location (still about 15 minutes walk to the center). Plentiful breakfast. Amazing terrasse and swimming pool (but cold and windy for swimming in March). Lots of restaurants and bars nearby. Friendly and efficient staff. Well-functioning A/C/ or heating. Good (free) internet. Very clean. Good price / value.

Not so good:
Soundproofing in the rooms is bad, whereas the road in front of the hotel is very noisy. Pillows are hard. Rooms on the ground floor face a wall (to be avoided, but the hotel nicely offered a room on the second floor for our second night). Food (and food choice) at the bar is only average. Additional elevator at "rush hour" would be welcome (only 2 for 8 floors).
