Lovely stay for my 30th
Reviewed 6 days ago

We have just returned after staying 30th Nov - 3rd Dec as an early 30th gift for my birthday this week. It’s a lovely hotel with great facilities and the staff are lovely and so helpful. The hotel isn’t near the centre on Barcelona or near to the attractions but was nice to be out the way. It’s close to a metro station and once we got to know our way around it was easy to get around.

Shopping centre next door is handy but all the shops shut on a Sunday, we found it was ridiculously busy when we went and the locals were rude to us.

Shower in the rooms aren’t great and it floods the floor as the shower is practically level with the floor. The electronic blinds are fab! But unfortunately one of them broke on our last day and kept waking us up as it kept making a noise but the staff were great when we reported it.

The hotel is fab and we would highly recommend it, loved the corner bar and the quality of the cocktails were good. Thank you to all the staff for a lovely stay.

I stayed seven nights at this ver comnfortable hotel. Since I was attending a conference
at the Convention Center just across the road, it was very convenient. Room was spacious with great view (could see ocean). Room service good, hotel staff went out of their way to be helpful. Very large breakfast spread, something for all tastes. It is next door to a large shopping center with some great eateries. Taxi ride to the waterfront restaurant area is about 10 minutes. Great value for money, would stay there again.

Excellent Hotel

Wonderful 4 star hotel with a great sea view, a bargain for the price (although admittedly this is out of season in November,). Very friendly and helpful staff and modern, large clean room with a comfortable kingsize bed. Hotel is not in the centre of Barcelona but at the Forum but a metro station is just opposite and its only a 20min ride into town. Breakfast is a continental style buffet with a very large extensive choice of hot and cold items.

Nice hotel... but VERY LOUD.

The hotel itself is very nice, across the street from the Convention Center, and a sizable but very pleasant walk down the beach to downtown (many public transport options also.) However - there is a nightclub/pool club on the third floor which goes all night on weekdays and is incredibly loud inside guest rooms (it’s currently a Wednesday in November at 10:30pm, and going strong, so this is not seasonal but all the time .) This isn’t like background noise, this is music loud enough that I can understand the lyrics, and the bass is shaking my room. I’m in favor of fun parties, but it seems weird to have guest rooms so close to the club on floor 3. Sleep or rest is completely impossible, which sucks for business travelers. If you want quiet to sleep or work, stay somewhere else.
