3 day visit!

The hotel was in a perfect location not far from the beach, right next door to the shopping centre. Literally everything was either a couple min walk away or a max 20 min car drive. The hotel reception staff were really friendly and the door staff. The pools were really nice. Didn't get the chance to use the spa. The downfall was that there was no iron in the room as it's a fire hazard but contradicts itself because there is a hairdryer installed right next to the sink which is a hazard also. So I had to use laundry service, which unfortunately I couldn't communicate at all with the laundry staff because she didn't know any English and they ended up charging me nearly double the price. But overall it was good but because of the iron issue may choose another hotel.

Great tower hotel with amazing view to Sagrada Familia

Hotel Princess is situated in a quiet area near the beach, shopping center, and metro station.
we had a very nice and comfortable room at 26’s floor with amazing view of the city and Sagrada Familia.
Room is modern and nice furnished, with comfortable bed, and also free minibar.
Breakfast was very good with a lot of local and fresh ingredients.
The pool is not very big, but have a spectacular wiew to Mediterranean Sea

The first few nights I stayed at the Barcelona Princess, I was on the 20th floor in a corner room. The view was incredible, the room was impeccable, service was fantastic.

I went to a conference, then returned to the Barcelona Princess for another few days. That room was on the tenth floor and was part of a block of rooms booked by my company for the stay post the conference. The service was still fantastic, but the room left a lot to be desired.

While still clean, it was so loud. I could hear the conversations of the people in the room next to mine, chair scraping on the tile floor, and all of the street noise from below - even with the windows closed and the privacy blinds shut. All night long I could hear the revelers below, the music playing in my neighbors room, and full conversations in the hallway.

The location of the hotel is fantastic - next to the big shopping center (Protip - Do not go to Primark after 5 on Friday or Saturday unless you want to relive the worst US Black Friday experience of your life), easy access to the beach, the Hop On Hop Off bus, walking distance to Sagrada Familia, close to transit stations, etc.

Overall, I would have given this a 3.5 based on the volume level in the room during the second part of my stay, but rounded up to 4 based on friendliness of staff and cleanliness of the rooms.

Also, take advantage of the free smartphone. It saved me one day when my personal smartphone died and I needed directions to my next stop.
