Beautiful Barcelona gives you the best of both worlds. On the one hand, it’s the ultimate European city escape, a thriving cosmopolitan hub of cultural sights, spectacular architecture and fresh food stalls. On the other, it’s also a dazzling seaside getaway, with a balmy climate, sandy beach and permanent feel-good vibe.
Located in the Villa Olímpica neighborhood, H10 Marina Barcelona boasts spectacular views over the bustling city and the Mediterranean beyond. Just a stone’s throw from the crowds and intoxicating sights of the city center, the hotel is a haven of peace and quiet.
After a busy day of savoring tapas, sipping sangria and exploring the city’s eclectic architecture – with imposing gothic cathedrals at one turn and Gaudi’s masterpieces at the next – you’ll be able to switch off in the Despacio spa with a lap in the heated pool, a session in the sauna or a relaxing beauty treatment.
Good to know
Please note that a tourist tax of €1.21 per person (aged 16 or over), per day is payable at the hotel.
The rooftop pool and Skyline bar are closed during the colder months.
Standard Double rooms are bright and spacious, with a modern décor and an en-suite bathroom.
You’ll be able to kick-start a busy day of sightseeing with a buffet breakfast of fresh, seasonal fruit, baked pastries, cereal and hot food. If the city center’s intimate tapas bars don’t draw you in, you’ll be able to recharge with Mediterranean à la carte dishes and exquisite wines in Dionissos Restaurant. For light refreshments, the La Llum Bar in the lobby and the eighth-floor Skyline Terrace are the ideal spots for an evening tipple over city views.
The Despacio Spa Center has it all: a heated pool with Niagara jets, a warm-water pool, a cold-water pool with pebbles, plus a Jacuzzi, sauna, Turkish bath, ice fountain, heated loungers and a gym. You’ll also be able to treat yourself to a range of beauty and body treatments.
Staying just steps from Bogatell metro station (L4) Marina metro station (L1), you’re within easy reach of Barcelona’s main attractions. Spend your time taking in the stunning Sagrada Familia and wandering the narrow streets of the Barri Gothic, or browse the high-end shops and famous homes of the Paseo de Gracia. Alternatively, head to the gorgeous beach, stroll along the Marina Promenade, take in the bustling atmosphere of La Rambla or take a cable car up to up to Montjuic for fantastic city views and the mesmerizing light-fountain show.
How to Get There
Was not very nice people and listening at reception Check In very basic. Breakfast large and fresh but no atmosphere and service. Hotel old on certain elements like aircond, wood maintenance in the rooms and equipment.
Location is very good, view very nice. Can be better for sure.
Boooked this hotel for our 10th wedding anniversary.
Paid for the privelige upgrade although only two beers in the mini bar per day. However you could go to the lounge which was much more well stocked with beer and wine, but snacks were a little lackluster and you wouldn't want to spend too long in there.
We had a crying baby next to us and dont blame the hotel, parents or children as we have two ourselves and the hotel did accommodate a room change.
Biggest negative were the conventions. We lost count of how many there were in the three weekdays we were there, luckily by the weekend they had gone.
Like most pools in Barcelona, it was very small and you have to be pretty lucky to get a longer when the sun is out.
Also it's a little out of the way, but we did know that on booking.
Spa was lovely and relaxing though
All in all it was ok, but if we were to come back we would look to book elsewhere.
Nice little hotel with good service, rooms were comfortable with a nice bathroom.
The roof terrace and bar was lovely but not many sunbeds and very busy.
Breakfast was an incredible selection, but my tip go early as the hot food is not if you go too late.
The staff were friendly and helpful and had a lovely end to my trip in the spa with a very reasonably priced massage
My only negative is the sound of banging doors from other guests (as the doors are quite heavy and they open straight onto the main bedroom)
So stayed here for 3 nights on a business trip. On the plus side is that the service in the bar and reception is friendly and good.
The breakfast is also a bit above average when the coffee machine works🙃. The bathroom articles are Nice and generously in number and assortment. On the minus side I have to say that the area is a bit uninteresting an the view from the rooms are not there unless you stay on the two top floors.
The hotel pictures in general promise more than they keep e.g. The rooftop pool is more a plunge pool and there is an uneven interior deco a mix of late 70 ties to eco deco of this decade.
If you stay here take a top floor room it is a good view.
Perfect location, perfect hotel.
The swimming pool is a bit small however you are so close to everything you won’t even need it!! I loved my stay in Barca and would recommend to everyone!
Hotel was very clean and stylish. The bar was nice with lots of drinks to offer.
There was lots to offer at the breakfast buffet.
