Beautiful Barcelona gives you the best of both worlds. On the one hand, it’s the ultimate European city escape, a thriving cosmopolitan hub of cultural sights, spectacular architecture and fresh food stalls. On the other, it’s also a dazzling seaside getaway, with a balmy climate, sandy beach and permanent feel-good vibe.
Located in the Villa Olímpica neighborhood, H10 Marina Barcelona boasts spectacular views over the bustling city and the Mediterranean beyond. Just a stone’s throw from the crowds and intoxicating sights of the city center, the hotel is a haven of peace and quiet.
After a busy day of savoring tapas, sipping sangria and exploring the city’s eclectic architecture – with imposing gothic cathedrals at one turn and Gaudi’s masterpieces at the next – you’ll be able to switch off in the Despacio spa with a lap in the heated pool, a session in the sauna or a relaxing beauty treatment.
Good to know

You’ll be able to kick-start a busy day of sightseeing with a buffet breakfast of fresh, seasonal fruit, baked pastries, cereal and hot food. If the city center’s intimate tapas bars don’t draw you in, you’ll be able to recharge with Mediterranean à la carte dishes and exquisite wines in Dionissos Restaurant. For light refreshments, the La Llum Bar in the lobby and the eighth-floor Skyline Terrace are the ideal spots for an evening tipple over city views.
The Despacio Spa Center has it all: a heated pool with Niagara jets, a warm-water pool, a cold-water pool with pebbles, plus a Jacuzzi, sauna, Turkish bath, ice fountain, heated loungers and a gym. You’ll also be able to treat yourself to a range of beauty and body treatments.

Spend your time taking in the stunning Sagrada Familia and wandering the narrow streets of the Barri Gothic, or browse the high-end shops and famous homes of the Paseo de Gracia. Alternatively, head to the gorgeous beach, stroll along the Marina Promenade, take in the bustling atmosphere of La Rambla or take a cable car up to up to Montjuic for fantastic city views and the mesmerizing light-fountain show.
How to Get There
Every staff member we encountered was very pleasant and spoke very good English. The rooms are decent but you have to pay extra to use a kettle as one is not automatically in the room. The breakfast is very good but the cooked parts (E.g. scrambled eggs and bacons) are not on a hot plate so are lukewarm at best. Still tasty though and plenty to choose from. The hotel is in a residential area and it's a bit run down but you are fairly near (15-25 min walk in most directions) to local landmarks and very near to the metro stations.
The initial checking in to the hotel seemed to take a long time. there were 3 staff on the desk but only one checking people in. You do receive a complimentary glass of Cava or orange juice though and staff let us check in before 14:00.
There is a fridge in the room with snacks and drinks and the menu in the room states the snacks are around 2.80 Euro but when we went to check out it each of the snacks were 5.00 making our total nearly 20 euro for a few bits of almonds!!
We stayed on the 4th floors and the rooms are nice and clean, the bath is tiny though! The water pressure is very good.
You have to pay for the spa, there are massages and things available but the prices are expensive. There is a free pool on the rooftop though which is nice.
We would stay in a H10 hotel again
My friend and I enjoyed a four night stay at the hotel and overall were pleased with everything. Our room on the fourth floor was comfortable and the location of hotel, although in a residential area, benefits from two metro stations nearby so very easy to get around the city. The breakfast had plenty of choice and I appreciated the extra nuts, dried fruit etc that I could add to the muesli. Only downside in the breakfast room is that being on lower ground floor there is a lack of natural light and so felt like it could have been any time of day. The cost of our stay was very good value due to a BA holiday deal but I'm not sure I'd want to pay the usual rate.
I was here on business for 5 days. I needed to be at an institute along the beach and this was very convenient as I could walk down in 10-15mins. There are not many bars or restaurants around the hotel but there are plenty along the beach or about another 15 mins walk in the opposite direction. The hotel staff was very friendly. The rooms were large and very clean. The breakfast was good with a lot of choice. The room was quiet and there was not a lot of noise in the hallways. The only reason that I didn't give a 5 star rating was that the cleaning service daily often left many things incomplete, otherwise it was a great place.
Stayed at the H10 Marina Barcelona Hotel in March 2019. The location was great, the staff at the hotel were really nice, the most annoying thing about the room was the toilet, every time you sat on it the toilet came away from the wall and went with a right bang when you got off the toilet. For the whole duration we were there the floors were not swept, apart from these things our stay was ok.
We had a privilege suite on the top floor - great views of Barcelona - from Montjuïc to the Port.
Amazing room with great bathroom walk in shower and bath - you name it int has it.
Fruit and Cava on arrival
Excellent buffet breakfast
Ideal location for university and only 10-15 minute walk from Born and Barrio Gothic
