Beautiful Barcelona gives you the best of both worlds. On the one hand, it’s the ultimate European city escape, a thriving cosmopolitan hub of cultural sights, spectacular architecture and fresh food stalls. On the other, it’s also a dazzling seaside getaway, with a balmy climate, sandy beach and permanent feel-good vibe.
Located in the Villa Olímpica neighborhood, H10 Marina Barcelona boasts spectacular views over the bustling city and the Mediterranean beyond. Just a stone’s throw from the crowds and intoxicating sights of the city center, the hotel is a haven of peace and quiet.
After a busy day of savoring tapas, sipping sangria and exploring the city’s eclectic architecture – with imposing gothic cathedrals at one turn and Gaudi’s masterpieces at the next – you’ll be able to switch off in the Despacio spa with a lap in the heated pool, a session in the sauna or a relaxing beauty treatment.

You’ll be able to kick-start a busy day of sightseeing with a buffet breakfast of fresh, seasonal fruit, baked pastries, cereal and hot food. If the city center’s intimate tapas bars don’t draw you in, you’ll be able to recharge with Mediterranean à la carte dishes and exquisite wines in Dionissos Restaurant. For light refreshments, the La Llum Bar in the lobby and the eighth-floor Skyline Terrace are the ideal spots for an evening tipple over city views.
The Despacio Spa Center has it all: a heated pool with Niagara jets, a warm-water pool, a cold-water pool with pebbles, plus a Jacuzzi, sauna, Turkish bath, ice fountain, heated loungers and a gym. You’ll also be able to treat yourself to a range of beauty and body treatments.

Spend your time taking in the stunning Sagrada Familia and wandering the narrow streets of the Barri Gothic, or browse the high-end shops and famous homes of the Paseo de Gracia. Alternatively, head to the gorgeous beach, stroll along the Marina Promenade, take in the bustling atmosphere of La Rambla or take a cable car up to up to Montjuic for fantastic city views and the mesmerizing light-fountain show.
How to Get There
Disappointed we were put in a lower floor facing the noise.. the heat is on here (normal) and cannot be adjusted we were told. We had to open the window just to breathe, making it very difficult to sleep with the noise! The tub is very slippery/dangerous because it has no grippers. No kettle or coffee in room, does have a bar though. Breakfast is $18E and not many options near by. Friendly staff and the lobby smelt fresh.
I spent a few extra days in BCN at the end of my group tour, which I was leading. Walked in at the H10 Marina as I thought it might be nice to be in this area for a few DAYS and I've stayed at H10 hotels before plus a friend of mine was at the H10 Cubik while I was in the city and highly recommended it. BUT, the attitude of the reception staff on duty was clearly racist - rude and obnoxious and curtly informing me they had no room before I'd even explained which dates I wanted!! Yet they were lovely to the White gentlemen before me and the White couple after. As a South African, I found this behaviour deeply disturbing and my impression was confirmed by some Asian British guests that I fell into conversation with just outside. They'd been similarly poorly treated but had prepaid their stay and so had to lump it and make the best of it. As a result of this poor impression and despite the great treatment when I visited my friend at the H10 Cubik, the H10 hotel group as a whole has lost out as I was scouting possible hotels for the small group tours I lead. I hope H10 management takes note and trains their staff better.
Everything about this hotel was very good. Location, food, service, cleanliness etc. The staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly. They happily changed us to a sunny room on arrival.
Excellent for beach and town. We bought the tourist bus tickets for travelling around. Useful tip, book Sagrada Familia before your visit, Then you don't have to queue and make sure you book the Audio guide, which is amazing and makes sense of it all. Allow plenty of time. Also book Park Guell in advance. You can take the tourist bus from outside Sagrada Familia to Park Guell. when you see both you get the full story of this Genius architect Goudi. This was advice we were given by my Spanish sister-in-law and she was right.
