Nice hotel but outside under renovations
Reviewed 3 days ago

We booked this hotel solely cause of the location near the train station. The room was nice but the bed was hard as a rock! We wanted a good night sleep but woke up with sore backs. The hotel is in the process of being renovated and you can tell by the outside. We are lucky we did t book more then one night! Staff were friendly. Definitely did not think the was a 4 plus hotel.

Great location and friendly staff

It was a fabulous location directly across from SANTS train station. The on off bus stop was across the street. The hotel had a wonderful breakfast upstairs on the 23rd floor that was included with our room. The view while having breakfast was beyond amazing. The staff was so friendly and helpful every time you stopped at the desk. The rooms were large and clean. The only issue we had the whole trip was the second day the air conditioning stopped working and a red light came on. I reported it and asked to have someone come look at it. While I was out someone called but did not come see for themselves and said that is just how the air conditioning worked and we could come get a fan. However the day before it was freezing in the room and we had to turn it down, also the red light was on which it wasnt before. We just opened the window and let the fresh air in as it was very not in the room. It can be a bit noisy on the street at night but we are New Yorkers and use to that so it was not bothersome. Lovely place to stay at a very reasonable price.

Wonderful staff, convenient location and great views

My son and I had a wonderful 6 nights at this hotel. The staff without exception, was very helpful, courteous and professional - always with a smile. Made us feel very welcome. The rooms were very big and comfortable with great big bathrooms and the views were wonderful. Our room was at the back looking across the city to mountains. The views from the breakfast room must be the best in Barcelona- you can see right across the city to the sea. We walk a lot and we walked to the magic fountains from the hotel and to various other places but you are also right next to a main train station here so can train it anywhere. We bought a 10-trip ticket which we both used for 5 trips each to get around and found that was all we needed for our stay. We also hired bikes and electric scooters which were a fun way to explore.

Good Hotel Centrally Located

The staff at this hotel was very warm and welcoming, and tried to be as helpful as they possibly can. The accommodations were comfortable and clean. It is situated close to everything....restaurants, pastry shops. hop on/hop off bus kiosk, train station and shopping. Kudos goes out to Jesus Lopez who recommended an outstanding restaurant about two or three blocks from the hotel called "Zarautz". One note: If you request them to print out your boarding pass, make sure it is the boarding pass and not just the confirmation of your check-in. This will save you a lot of hassles and confusion when you arrive at the airport..

Great location near Central Train Station, short walk to Plaza Espania. Rooms are large with gorgeous views, XL double vanity all marble modern bathroom, many closets, C/A, very clean, crispy clean linen. It was a very pleasure stay in Barcelona.
