How to Get There
Super high level of service, wonderful breakfast from 730am till 12pm, and free tapas from 2pm till 11pm, you cannot expect it anywhere! Every detail was carefully attended from the staff! Even in 5 stars hotel you will not have this attention! Highly recommend!
Newish hotel still in excellent condition. Small pool and gym (actually only three cardio machines) Superb breakfast - good value. Also free snacks and sandwiches during the day. All staff very helpful. This hotel is in a great location as well.
My brother and I stayed here for three nights and were really happy with the choice. We chose a Superior room so my brother and I could ensure we had separate beds, and the room at this self-described 4-star hotel were actually larger than those for our 5-star hotel in Madrid that we stayed in after our stay in Barcelona. The location was great, the staff were helpful, there were Nespresso machines in the rooms, and there were snacks and drinks in the common areas. The room was quiet and there was a safe for valuables, and the shower was nice. The only down-side occurred on the first night. I like my room pretty cool in the evenings for sleeping, and the first night, the room was warmer than I am accustomed to, and our attempts to adjust the thermostat didn't do anything. I called the reception desk to ask if it could be fixed, and was told that early in the summer, it takes longer for the air conditioning to work, and the person at the reception desk promised me it would get cooler. It didn't and I woke up a 2:00 in the morning unable to fall back to sleep, I think largely because of the temperature (but also possibly due to jet lag), so went down to the common area for an hour until I was sleepy. The next day, I spoke with someone at the reception desk, however, and they had someone fix the air conditioning in our room so we slept well the rest of our stay. Other than that one incident, our stay here was really nice, and I would stay here again when visiting Barcelona.
