We stayed here for 4 nights in May half term as a family. The hotel very central well placed & quiet. The pool was lovely- if a little neglected by the staff as generally no towels were available & ordering a drink was difficult as the staff only came up every few hours
Overall we enjoyed our stay but I would be cautious to revisit mainly because the rooms are so variable and it’s a gamble whether you are in a box overlooking a block of flats or something more pleasant?
I booked directly with the hotel- for 3 of us the only option was a triple room- I would normally upgrade if it was made available.
Sadly we were allocated a dark ‘box’ on arrival with a king size & pull down bed. It was not big enough for 3 people and it overlooked an inner courtyard which in turn was overlooked by a block of flats.
I complained straight away and they moved us the next morning to a nicer room overlooking the shopping square which was lighter/ more spacious. We didn’t get fresh water in our room every day although we did get a turn down service every night - why offer one lovely thing and not the other?
Maybe the start just tainted our trip- the rest passed uneventfully.
Good points central & quiet & very clean & nice pool
Not so good points- the worry of getting a decent room with a nice view.

Centrally located hotel in Barcelona. Everything is with-in walking distance, beach about 15 minutes. Nice that it wasn't on a major road so it was quiet. The Cathedral is right there. Very good breakfast. Very clean.

Fantastic hotel!

This hotel was perfect for our stay. It was in the middle of everything and right by the Cathedral. Rooms were great, service was excellent, and value was outstanding. They even offer free tours from the hotel. Definitely a favorite hotel of ours.

Perfect hotel in a prime location. We will be back!

The hotel has everything you need for a city break. The hotel staff was always helpful and dedicated. To emphasize would be the room service. The ladies have done a great job. The breakfast leaves nothing to be desired. All in all a great place to get to know Barcelona

Great hotel!

We stayed for 3 nights with another couple. The hotel has a roof top pool which was very relaxing. Drawback was you had to get towels from reception. They had bar service by calling to the bar and they would deliver to the roof top pool.

Size of the room was very comfortable over looking a patio. You could hear noise from the hallway which was unfortunate. Our friends received a knock on the door each evening with a chocolate for each but we never received that knock. I am sure we could have called the front desk but really didn’t care about the chocolate. Strange though because we were on the same floor

Breakfast was very expensive at €20 per person. We checked out the breakfast but decided there were enough restaurants in the area where we could eat for much less.

Overall a wonderful hotel and we would not hesitate to return.
