How to Get There
What an amazing hotel! My husband and I have been to Catalina many times and normally we will stay at the Portofino. Since the Portofino has sold the customer service there has completely changed so we thought we’d try something new, what a delight. The customer service here was spot on! Tiffany H. And Ashley R. We’re great at the front desk along with many other of the employees. The breakfast amazing, the happy hour and wine and cheese are perfect. We will definitely be back. They made our anniversary wonderful. The pavilion hotel is one of our new favorites.
My wife and I had not been to Catalina in 20 years and remember the Pavillion as being a great hotel. My wife booked for 3 nights and the Pavillion exceeded our expectations....Our room was spotless and had a view directly to the main Gardens. The bed was super comfortable, and there was absolutely no noise at night. After waking from a restful sleep we received our own custom made to order Omelette cooked by the exceptional CHEF TONY. Breakfast
Breakfast was amazingl with fresh fruit and perfect coffee. A beautiful view of the Bay especially in the morning...breathtaking. Everything ran like clock work with an exceptional staff....Everyone we met was exceptional and courteous from the , gardners, maids, up to management. We would especially like to thank ASHLEY and DANIEL at the front desk for attending to us like family. We would like to thank
DAVID (Server) for being so thoughtful, efficient, and kind to all his guests.
We would like to thank the best housekeepers ever for being detail oriented as they
cleaned our rooms with a smile...I believe our housekeepers for #105 were Celia and
Clementina. Thank you for everything..Hope to return in 4 months to celebrate my
We only stayed for one Thursday night, but it was one terrific stay in all respects. The hotel staff is very very helpful, particularly with generating tickets for the local tours and giving suggestions for things to do. The room we had, though rather far in the back, had a super comfy bed and all amenities worked well (once we figured out how to engage the A/C). The rooms are quiet despite all the golf cart noise in the streets. The property is lovely and you won’t find a better location in Avalon, particularly if you want to walk from the Catalina Express ferry. You can walk to everything from the hotel. The hotel grounds are exotic/charming with a nice fire pit area and beautiful landscaping. Breakfast: The best (custom) omelette I’ve probably ever had, plus the breakfast area is really nice. Bikes: The hotel has a limited supply of bikes for its guests. That’s a nice touch and we took a couple of bikes out for a quick tour (2 hrs max). Happy Hour: Lots of wine, sunshine, and interesting guests. Overall: Thanks for a great stay! Kudos to Tiffany and Daniel for such great service!! (See pics)
