Let down at the end!

Visited from England having arrived following some time spent in the States. At check in the reception were excellent, especially Andres who was exceptionally helpful throughout our visit. Staff at breakfast and at the pool bar were also delightful.
Why not 5 stars? Because when we left our room at the appropriate time, we were aware of our plane being delayed, and sat in the lounge.
On checking out two hours later, we were told by an arrogant reception male that there was no evidence of our leaving the room on time (despite the fact that two
staff members saw us in the lounge for the whole period), and therefore there would be an extra charge. When we queried this he responded “ I don’t know what you worried about- it’s only $34! Pity this incident took the edge of what was otherwise a wonderful 3 night stay.

One night disappointment

When I spoke to the employee at TripAdvisor, he told me the deal included bath robes and a bath.
This was a room for 4 people.
There were 3 towels, no bath and one pair of slippers. The hotel is in a tourist area and only the front desk clerk could speak à some what decent English. The room was clean

Great resort hotel

We enjoyed the excellent service at the hotel. There were no issues with the language, as most of the staff could speak English and were helpful to us. We would also like to appreciate Eudel for his wonderful service at breakfast daily.

The hotel is about 25min to the airport (25,000 peso), and 15min to the old town (10,000 peso). The taxi drivers were honest and we preferred using them to uber because of the lengthy waiting time for the latter.

As Hilton members, we were thankful for the one-level upgrade, affording us a beautiful view of the Caribbean sea. The standard rooms were large and modern. We also enjoyed using the Executive Lounge, which had decent evening food reception, and a nice view. The one thing I didn’t like was the lack of water bottles or a water dispenser in the lounge.

A few days away with friends ...

This January is the third time we’ve stayed at this Hotel. It is a lovely, clean hotel with fabulous friendly staff who are all more than willing to help. Particularly Rafael Pertuz on the front desk who remembers us and makes sure we get our two favorite corner suites. The breakfast buffet is wonderful. We had dinner there three nights and Diego made us the most wonderful crepes suzette pancakes. We will be back next year ......

Clean and Comfortable

Stayed here 2 nights - Jan 26 and 27th. 10th floor room. Hotel was clean, beds were comfortable and it was quiet. Small fridge was there -full of items they have for sale but we removed those and used it for our own drinks. Could have been a little colder but it worked well enough. Pools were nice, 1 is under construction. Staff were all friendly and helpful.
