How to Get There
We just returned from another fabulous trip and looking forward to returning in 2020. As always the entire staff makes you feel like family and they are there to meet your needs. Dining at Aqua Terra & Coconuts was excellent and were informed they have a new chef (Bermudian) that circulated during dining and offered his favorites. The beach is pristine and well equipped for recreational activities (kayaks, stand up surf boards, masks and snorkels, etc) We stayed under the terrace and the views were outstanding and the maid service and turn down was perfect.
My husband and I just came back from a 4-night stay at The Reefs for our wedding anniversary celebration. This is an amazing hotel! The location is perfect - right by all the pink sand beaches (it has its own beach, too). During our stay the staff could not have been nicer. They remembered our names, and made sure we had everything that we needed. We booked a cliffside room with breakfast. Turns out that our stay also included afternoon tea service, which was really cool. Both breakfast and the afternoon tea were great. We ate dinner once at the Coconuts restaurant and had desert at Aqua Terra, and both meals were excellent. We loved the location, as it was out of the way from all the Hamilton craziness and more serene, but the scooter rental place is literally across the road from the hotel - so very easy to pick up and drop off a scooter to go around the island. The hotel also has scooter parking.
We will definitely be recommending this hotel to others, and hope to come back ourselves one of these days.
Everything about the resort and especially their staff was excellent. Anyone who says differently, well, it's their problem not The Reefs. The check-in process was effortless, informative and efficient. The gentleman who escorted us to our room was courteous and very helpful. All the wait staff at the various restaurants and bars were very friendly, attentive, polite and conscientious. And the maid service could not have been any better. As for the property itself it was beautiful. The beach was spectacular and the pool area was very clean and surprisingly quiet. All in all a very positive experience and we hope to return soon.
We recently stayed here for the first time. We thought it was nice. We did not bring slippers because hotels of this class usually provide disposable slippers so we were disappointed they did not follow that practice. Otherwise the room and facilities were fine. Our best part was the dining. We really enjoyed every meal. We would have loved to call the entire dining experience excellent but our last meal did not make that possible. We highly enjoyed our main course. However when my wife’s soufflé arrived it was a disaster. It was a chocolate puddle in a ramekin. How the chef allowed it to leave the kitchen and the waiter likewise did not question it is beyond me. My wife did not send it back because we did not want to wait for a replacement. So my advice is try anything on the menu but don’t have your meal spoiled by the so called soufflé.
Perfect place to stay, absolutely wonderful staff. ....
Incredible views! It’s a great booty towel, with nice rooms, everything is so different. The food is delicious, and incredible birthday breakfast is included in the price.
