How to Get There
First time going to Bermuda. Oh boy, this island is the MOST BEAUTIFUL island we have ever been. Clean, safe, friendly and mosquito free :) we were not only impressed with the island, but also the resort where we stayed at "ELBOW BEACH RESORT". beautiful villas, clean, spacious and just perfect. From the moment we checked in to the last minute of checking out, we were greeted and served with smiles, good mornings, hellos and just very welcoming. The beach at Elbow Beach is just picture perfect beautiful, perfect clean sand, clear and blue and warm waters, and the beach resort people just very accomodating and helpful towards their guest. The food was very good, the service at the restaurants just great. We had Carmen and Giusseppe as our servers. They made us very welcome and very friendly.
I would never go back to this complex again! The manager did not know how to behave in a professional manner. Once I told him I would give the resort a bad review he pushed me in front of his staff who felt to scared of him to do anything. The manager was using profanities and his wording was racist. ‘I don’t want black people like you here’, in fact he said it in front of his black security guards who was a shocked as me. The security guards were polite and apologetic on behalf of their manager but it was little to late. Manager is utterly shameful. To call himself a business man and act like a spoilt child that doesn’t get his way is ridiculous.
I will never go back to elbow beach in bermuda due to the disrespect and assault by the manager.
I would warn against anyone from an ethic minortiy group not to stay here as you will be treated much differently then your white peers... I thought we were past Stone Age racial profiling!
If your white.. you will love it! Enjoy... but we warned..... don’t tell the manager you plan to give a bad review or he could attack you the way he did to a small 5 foot woman...
Elbow beach and Bermuda is beautiful, but I would not recommend staying at Elbow Beach Resort. There are so many other nice luxury properties on the island with better service and food at the same price. I will absolutely be back to Bermuda but will never stay at this property or recommend it to anyone I know. The rooms were dirty, no coffee maker in the room, the towels at the pool had holes in them and told the pool was heated and opened at night and this was not the case. The ocean was warmer than the water in the pool. Overall the worst service I’ve ever had on vacation.
Second time visiting this resort and they always exceed my expectations. The rooms are very large with very upscale bathrooms and that rain shower! Beautiful grounds and just 10 minutes from Hamilton. Finally got to enjoy the Harbor Nights which are hosted in the summer on Wednesday Nights! Had lunch at Mickeys, and breakfast in the Lido Cafe. Everything was perfect. Will visit again!
I stayed with friends from work after attending a conference in Hamilton and had a fantastic time. Really worth it, the views are amazing and the service was excellent. Staff was very attentive and accommodating. Would definitively return.
