Very nice

We just got back from a lovely stay at Elbow beach hotel and we would not have changed a thing. It is a pricey hotel in our opinion, but the service is top notch, the weather is perfect literally every day, and the ocean view from the rooms, not to mention the pool and beach are spectacular. We used the spa one day for a couples massage and again even though it was expensive, it was very enjoyable.

The customer service sucks. We had ant & spider infestations and the hotel did not seem to care. We had to ask them to bring and leave a can of raid. The a/c did not work, we called about it 4 times. It was two days later before they sent someone who couldn't fix it. The front desk constantly mixed up our requests and times for shuttle pick ups and taxi pick ups. Then at check out they slap us with a second person fee. We would have been okay with it, had we been told at check in when we both checked in with our passports and signature. We were not the only ones that had problems. Our friends experienced insect infestations and broken a/c issues as well while we were there.

Enjoyed my stay!

I had the pleasure of staying at the Elbow Beach Hotel recently during a short trip to Bermuda. I was warmly greeted during my check in, and I enjoyed the lobby decor. I was delivered to my room by a bellman that explained everything I needed to know about my room. The room was spotless. Of course, the ocean view is the highlight, and mine did not disappoint. The food and service were excellent. Overall, I enjoyed my visit very much.

A wonderful way to spend a special occasion

My husband surprised me with a trip to Bermuda for my birthday. We stayed for 5 nights, 6 days on this beautiful island. The resort is conveniently located in the middle of the island so it was an easy 5 minute ride to downtown Hamilton, and just about 20 minutes from the airport. The resort grounds are beautifully manicured. We enjoyed our room which was clean, comfortable, and at a good value. The room attendant cared for our every need. And, what a view we had overlooking the Atlantic!!!! The hotel team was kind, attentive and very helpful with area restaurants and directions around the island. The beach is extraordinary. No other resort beach like it on the island. Expansive in size with silky smooth sand and beautiful blue warm water... it is certainly nothing we have ever encountered before. The private beach was meticulously arranged with lounge chairs, umbrellas and offers friendly servers and beach attendants... we were in heaven. We spent several of our evenings dining at the resort. The variety of restaurants with breathtaking views and delectable dishes allowed us to stay close and enjoy the experience. We highly recommend the Elbow Beach Resort. We will return, maybe for my husbands birthday in April? :)

Attentive staff despite poor management

Upon arrival at the Elbow Beach Resort we were happy to hear our accommodations had been upgraded to an "ocean view" room. We would probably have enjoyed that room if the air conditioning worked. However, it did not and sleep each night was hard to come by due to the humidity. Despite telling management for three days that the room had a problem that was making comfortable sleep impossible the air condition remained out of order. Management did not contact us about the situation so we do not know if any effort was made to remedy the situation, such as fixing the air conditioning or moving us to a room with working air conditioning. A resort guest might think that for more than $300 per night management would make an effort to accommodate its guests but that thought would be in error.
