Excellent stay as always . If you wish to be spoiled with attentive and friendly staff this is the place for you. Not being around our kids for a week was what we needed form our hectic schedules . Peace and quiet is what you get here with only adults allowed and a great location
Thank you to the following staff who deserve to be recognized and in no particular order.
Beverly (Thank you for your daily friendly greetings)
Juan (Everyone knows Juan. One Happy Island) . Hope you get to try that Creamsicle)
Vincent (Goes above and beyond . Thanks for indulging me in my terrible Papiamento)
Greg (The Phillipines are everywhere)
Orville (Hope the Lottery comes through one day)
Nancy (Best omelettes on the Island)
Pacco (The star of the resort . What up! )
The staff here and most of the friendly people of Aruba are the reason to keep coming back
Thank you from way up here in the Great White North (Western Canada)

First of all Bacuti & Tara is surely the best hotel in Aruba. We've stayed at the Ritz Carlton which is basically a Marriott with a fancy badge. What a letdown that was. We've also stayed at Manchebo right next door. It's charming but the rooms aren't much to speak about.
You can read all the other reviews for B&T about location, beach, awesome friendly staff, adults-only. All true and deserved. B&T personnel in particular are really good.
But...For B&T to be a true 5 a few of things need to happen (IMHO as an experienced traveler who prefers the best):
F&B service is not a 5 star experience. I'd call it a 3. Essence simply is underwhelming. We had much better dinners next door at Manchebo or other restaurants on the island. When I think of the highest rated resorts we go to in other parts of the world I think of One&Only or Rosewood, places like that. At those kinds of resorts you almost don't want to leave the property because F&B is so good. Something for B&T to aspire to if they're looking for ways to step up the game.
The spa is also underwhelming. Manchebo spa much better. At B&T the tables aren't comfortable and frankly the staff didn't seem like they really had the kind of training one might expect.
Lastly the buildings are starting to show their age. It's a minor point but things are a bit dated.
I'm offering what I hope to be taken as constructive feedback. We love Aruba and when we go back we'll book B&T. I'd love to see them take the challenge to up their game and turn it into something that rivals the best brands in the world. Why? They've got the bones to do it. Their staff is awesome and the beach and weather in Aruba is one of the best around.
Maybe if St. Regis actually arrives it'll be the impetus to take B&T to a level that could get 5's not because it's the only good option on the island but because it's truly on a level of the very best anywhere. Then again, maybe that's not the goal. Maybe being good is good enough...
The Bucuti and Tara is the most beautiful and happy place I’ve ever been. My husband and I just returned from our honeymoon and we absolutely loved it. I didn’t want to leave! It was clean and the beach is breathtaking. The staff is so friendly and helpful! They truly go out of their way to make sure you have the most amazing time. One aspect of the resort that we loved was that we could reserve an umbrella on the beach through the IPad in our room! We could sleep in knowing we had an umbrella waiting for us! I can’t wait to start planning my next trip to the Bucuti and Tara!
My wife and I just returned from our honeymoon at Bucuti. All we have been able to say is how perfect this place is. We thought about how different our experience would be if we stayed somewhere else and we both decided it would be no where near as good! The staff is some of the most friendly people we have ever met. They all interact friendly with each other and with all the guests. They make sure to do what they can to accommodate the guests. We were lucky to be blessed with Orville as our beach server. He as the BEST. He helped us out everyday with a smile on his face and he helped us get better spots along the beach when he could. He was a huge reason for the successful trip! Juan was also a huge hit during breakfast. His happy happy attitude "every single day" was a great way to start each and every morning.
We have already started to plan and look into our next trip to Aruba and the Bucuti. Our new saying for Aruba is "Bucuti or Bust!"
