How to Get There
My husband and I celebrated our anniversary by staying at CeBlue. It was a trip of a lifetime.
What I loved about our trip:
-The villas are beautiful and have everything that you can imagine that you might need.
-The fact that we rented one bedroom but still had the entire two floors of the villas for our use was unbelievable.
-Because it was the slow season they didn’t serve breakfast at the clubhouse so instead they brought breakfast to us each morning. Winner winner chicken dinner😃
-My husband likes to work out and the workout room had everything that you can think of for such a small area. Plus the view of Crocus Bay.
-The staff was so nice and did a great job. Andrea arraigned for our boat transfer to/from airport and had a rental car delivered to our villa for us. And everyone we met on the island were so friendly.
-We rented a car and drove everywhere. It was easy to get around and fun so see other parts of the island.
-Really enjoyed snorkeling at Little Bay. We kayaked one day and did a paddle boat another. Also snorkeling at Sandy Island was fun. (We brought our own snorkeling gear)
-My favorite part were the sunsets. Absolutely breathtaking.
My 16-year-old daughter always insists that we try different places when we vacation and we had not been to Anguilla until this year. We picked CeBlue from the reviews, and while we often stay in very nice places, this was the nicest villa we’ve ever had. Very stylish, with freestanding tubs, beautifully appointed, our own plunge pool. Each bedroom is accessed from your own private (and huge) outdoor patio/deck with a plunge pool, beautiful outdoor furniture and a 12 ft.² cantilevered umbrella. The common kitchen/dining area overlooks the patio and has two walls of folding glass walls that opened up completely. Incredible views from this patio. Incredible. It was perfect for our family of four, which included our 16-year-old daughter and our 26-year-old son, and would be great for multiple families. Each villa has five bedrooms, three on the upper level off of this patio, and 2 below. We only needed three of the bedrooms so they just locked off the lower two. There’s a very small restaurant off of the lobby, and a larger restaurant a short walk down the hill, although the larger restaurant is not open for all meals.
I can’t say enough about the staff. They personally come to your villa whenever you need anything, they deliver cookies every night, they arranged for the rental car person to come right to our villa to sign the paperwork, and were incredibly helpful.
The location offered great views and was pretty central. Other than the one restaurant you could walk to, there’s not a lot else in the area, but frankly that wasn’t a downside.
There’s a guy with a small boat, who can take you to a couple local snorkeling areas and he leaves right from the bottom of the hill below the resort. He’s great. We got a jeep and drove all around the island and really enjoyed that. We also did two excursions out to the small islands of sandy island and prickly pear island, and thought both of those were great. Small beach shack restaurants there and picturesque tiny little islands. Both trips were pretty short, but you have to leave from Sandy Ground, about 10 minutes away.
I would easily go back again, if my daughter wasn’t always so focused on trying somewhere new.
One of the highlights of our trip was a horseback ride with Seaside Stables. It was just the lovely and gracious owner, with our family at sunset. She not only took us into the water, but we went in all the way up to the top of the saddles! We were all laughing and had an absolutely fantastic time.
Excellent resort for a family vacation. Plenty of room in each unit with 5 plus bedrooms and great to have a pool in each unit.
Incredible ocean views. Staff are all super friendly and helpful.
Highly recommend Ceblue for your next vacation.
The best things about CeBlue are the central location, villa layout, the beautiful views, cleanliness and the service. The manager, Etiennette was available 24/7 and made sure everything was provided promptly with a smile. This property is our favourite so far and we are extensive travellers in the Caribbean. The entire staff, including the bartenders, chef Ken, the cleaning staff and maintenance crews were extremely friendly and helpful. The pool was warm, the breezes mild, the rooms very well stocked and luxurious. The media room and kitchen/dining areas were comfortable and up to date. The only suggestion for travelers with mobility issues you will need to stay in the lower villa #1 because the hill to main lobby is very steep. It was no problem for able bodied travellers and we were happy to get some exercise after eating all the great pizza and going to happy hour every evening. There is nothing I would change about CeBlue and I will be back soon!
CeBlue beach resort exceeded our expectations. The villa was amazing for many reasons. The villa has the largest dipping pool I have ever been in. Is it still a dipping pool if it could fit and entire family? Just wonderful. The bed rooms and kitchen/dining room are all accessed by a beautiful huge patio/deck, The rooms all have sliding glass walls that open the room up to the incredible views of Crocus Bay.
From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, The General Manger, Entiennette, was there to make our stay as best possible. Honestly, it was the best service I have ever had in my years of traveling the world. Etiennette greeted us as we arrived to our villa door. What else? Well she set our black car service from the SXM airport to the boat transfer to Anguilla, another black car from dock to villa, personal greeting and tour of villa, dining reservation at Da Vida (walking distance), had rental car waiting for us at the villa, booked half day private boat charter, placed on site pizza order, and much more! Now Ce Blue is a great resort villa on its own, but Etiennette made it feel like we were staying at a very dear friend's or family member's home.
If you want a relaxing get away with great beaches, snorkeling with sea turtles, great food, and great locals, I recommend Anguilla. If you want to stay at a place that feels like you have your own home in Anguilla, I recommend the amazing villas of CeBlue.
