Worn and tired. Even the newer wing is in disrepair.

OK, forget their web site pictures. A lot of rooms are not renovated and even some that are have a long way to go. One of our rooms had a balcony door that was off the hinges, a non-working refrigerator, and no black out curtains. After being promised 3 times on 2 different days that it would be fixed, it never got repaired. Eventually moved to another room,

As for my room, I had to move three times to get the room type I reserved. It was a "reservations mistake." It seemed there were a lot of those.

Housekeeping came at either 9 am or sometime between 6 and 9 pm! No rhyme or reason.

You can keep the free breakfast. No taste and pretty low end. The food for lunch was not much better. OK, maybe two star but no more. Room service dinner was an embarrassment.

For what they charge, there are a lot nicer hotels with better food (not very difficult to do.)

Perfect location

This hotel is situated in the heart of the city of Buenos Aires. It's hard to get better location then this. across the street from Theatre Colon & just a few steps from the Obelisk. Hotel itself is very nice, the rooms are spacious & nicely equipped. The stuff is very friendly & helpful. On the top floor nice terrace with a great views.

Grand looking, but quite tired

This hotel looks stately and magnificent when you enter it. The lobby with the enormous horse statutes are quite imposing. And the fact that there are two wings where the rooms are located. But that's where it all ends.

The room that I had was OK, albeit small. The fit-out a little haphazard as was the layout of the room. There was a little nook that had a window where the luggage horse was located. Just for that purpose, it seems!

Also, our shower did not come with a curtain or a glass pane, so the bathroom floor was a river each time we used it. It became apparent upon closer inspection that there should have been a sliding glass door there (the tracks were evident) but the doors were missing. Not an oversight the maids or hotel management should overlook.

One the plus side was the TV - heaps of channels to pick from!

There was a lot of talk of the roof top pool. While it was lovely, the décor was tired and the atmosphere not terribly welcoming.

The location was pretty good tho - right across the road from the Opera House.

Average hotel

The hotel has an old charm feel about it but it seems like it needs a little repair. Our shower leaked and there was a puddle on the floor. Some of the rooms don't have the round hole electrical outlet so I had to go buy one that would work. The safe would not open after I locked it so I had to call for help in opening it. The breakfast is pretty terrible. Not really close to the museums. The pillows are very hard and not great for sleeping. The lobby is nice.

Good and nice hotel!

I was there for three nights with my wife for a meeting at this hotel. It’s a big and nice hotel in a perfect location downtown Buenos Aires.

Perfect location
Good wifi who was good enough to speak with my family thru messenger
Wonderful room (we had a nice suite)
Oversized bathroom
Good buffet breakfast with over(hot and cold breakfast) but really too busy!
Fads Elevator
Large and nice pool with a wonderful terrace on the hotel roof with overview on the city. They also have a bar at the pool: enjoying a good glass of wine at this outside terrace is a “must do”
Good staff

The breakfast buffet is nice but sometime the food were almost cold. And if the hotel is full, it’s really too busy!

If I go back in Buenos aires, I will consider to go back to this hotel
