How to Get There
Arrived for a 4 night stay mid morning after 14 hour overnight flight , to be told room was ready , but if we wanted to use it $20 supplement would be charged as we were 3 hours early.
This hotel has a rip em off attitude .Breakfast unbelievably bad,Burnt ,cold scrambled egg, swimming in liquid, juice from powder base, cheap synthetic yoghurt etc etc,
Our rate included breakfast but we only tried it once which was enough!
Clean room with view over adjoining roof tops and air con units,Never again !
Very stylish and elegant, with a swimming pool, big rooms, polite staff and generous breakfast. Nice ambience and nice customers.
It is just between Retiro and Recoleta, right next to one of the poshest areas of BA.
The hotel's sky bar is a meeting point for locals after work and you can feel the vibe of the urban Buenos Aires society.
My husband and I stayed here one night on our return trip from Antartica. It was very comfortable , clean, modern and spacious. The wifi was good. Its in a good location near restaurants and shops. A very good pizza place across the road , good service and very cheap with cold beers! An ouside bar on the roof top of hotel which is obviously very popoular as it was very busy on a Friday night! A quieter bar in the ground floor . We had to leave early the next morning for our flight so unable to have breakfast but they gave us a packed breakfast. So sorry we did not have an extra night or two here.
Hotel is small and very clean. Staff was very helpful. We left our bags for 2 days here while visting Iguazu Falls. The Hotel Restaurant is only Average minus for breakfast. Did not eat dinner here, pricey and not much selection.
Booked in by my travel agent for a two night stay on way south to Antarctica and then a single night on return home. Clean and safe hotel and good location for the city centre most things walkable if one feels inclined.
On arriving around 11.00am from a 14 hour flight from UK disappointed to not to have a room available unless paying a $40 early registration charge. I had emailed previously asking for an early check in.
Reception staff helpful especially Antolin who arranged my Argentina internal flight check in and sorted out a plug adaptor for me.
Breakfast and small restaurant were fine. Room clean and wall safe was appreciated and easy to use. Strange quirk was that they do not supply plugs for wash hand basin or bath? Apparently they have had floods, but by chance (I was told by reception) that the cap from the complementary shampoo fits perfectly!
In a built up area so no room views and traffic could be noisy so ask for higher floor.
