How to Get There
A good location just off San Martin plaza in the centre of the city. The hotel is comfortabe but does not promote itself that well. There is a swimming pool on 7th floor and a cocktail sky garden worth a visit, though a tad noisy. Little information in the room about the hotel. Breakfasts are buffet style and good. Didn’t eat in the hotel restaurant but, again, never saw a menu.
Overall I had a good stay at the hotel. My only complaint is on the last night of the stay, the person in the room next to me came in drunk at about 2:30 AM, made a lot of noise and started smoking which came into my room. Also, the tv had no English channels.
We had strange experience with Hotel Pulitzer Buenos Aires that the hotel electricity was black out /shut down during our check in process and we were unable to check in for 5 hours due to lack of electricity. I am unable to put the hotel for 5 stars.. Without dinner at B de T restaurant our experience could be down to 3 stars experience.
Pros: 1. Location; 2. Shopping area for convenience; 3. Good dinner and its service at B de T hotel's restaurant; 4. Drinks at Skybar on rooftop.
Cons: 1. Room; 2. Uneasy complicated access to pool; 3. Quality of service; 4. Poor continental breakfast; 5. Bored ugly pool.
First of all, when i booked the room I mentioned it was for our first wedding anniversary and anything they could do extra to make our stay special would be greatly appreciated. Ok i get it, you can't upgrade everyone and that is understandable but they could at the very least acknowledged it was our wedding anniversary. The front desk clerks were very cold. No "welcome" while checking in and no "how was your stay" while checking out. It was more of, give me your credit card and don't bother me with any questions.
The room was nothing special and very small and the only view we had was of the run down apartments surrounding the hotel.
The biggest joke of the hotel is the so called pool.Whoever decided to put a pool in an area that doesn't get sun during the day isn't the smartest. It was an oversized bathtub and completely blocked from any sun.
The only reason this hotel gets an extra star is for the Sky Bar although the drinks were a bit expensive. The views aren't THAT great but it was relaxing.
My recommendation is to book your stay at a true 4 star hotel and come here for the Sky Bar only and go back to your other hotel. Calling this place a 4 star hotel is a joke.
We booked very last minute and so thankful we did! Hotel in general was really nice and high quality. Staff in general was very nice and accommodating. Would definitely recommend for someone staying in Buenos Aires.
