How to Get There
We are cousins, and were here for vacation and our first time in Argentina. The Fierro Hotel is a delight. We had lovely rooms facing the back. The rooms are clean, spacious, comfortable and stylish, each with a desk and large sitting area. The people managing the desk are friendly, and helpful. They gave us good advice about neighborhood restaurants (Buenos Aires Verde and Artemesia) and a neighborhood spot to watch tango (La Viruta Tango). We had dinner and (included breakfasts) at the Hotel’s very excellent restaurant Uco. The breakfasts are a treat, with homemade bread, jam, and juice, and delicious specials. We enjoyed the roof top sauna and heated pool. The Palermo Hollywood neighborhood is lovely and comfortable to walk in, even late at night. Felt very safe walking around the whole area. Thank you Fierro -- we will definitely be back!
Lovely hotel in pleasant, safe area of Buenos Aires. Everything was great, from the welcome to the well-equipped spacious bedroom with its super powerful shower and the excellent breakfast served in their restaurant. We also had a delicious meal there with relatives one evening and enjoyed the free wine tasting session in their wine shop. The owners of this hotel really know the meaning of hospitality, something that others would do well to copy. Nothing was too much trouble for them.
We are a couple in our 30s who travel frequently both Domestic & International. We were here for vacation and our first time in Argentina. All I can say is trust the reviews, this place is wonderful. I was split between here and staying closer to downtown in a big chain hotel and we are so happy with our decision. We booked the terrace suite with hot tube, It’s on the 8th floor and is basically a pent house. Clean and comfortable, we really felt at home after a long flight. At check in everyone was very nice and gave us a complimentary glass of wine and tea. Free coffee, water and even a bottle of wine In the room was great. Nespresso machine was perfect for mornings to get going. Pool was heated you can get drinks. It was pretty cold when we were in town so only jumped in once. I was worried that the area was going to be sketchy (1st time in South America so don’t judge lol) but Palmero Hollywood was actually our favorite area of BA. A bunch of Great restaurants & bars all within 10 min and so is a subway station. SOHO is about 15 minutes by walking. Felt very safe walking around the whole area. We never ate at the hotel which we were disappointed in but there’s always next time. If you like boutique hotel with some character and half the price of the Hilton I highly recommend the Fierro Hotel.
