How to Get There
Loved this boutique hotel in Palermo. The room is actually bigger than I anticipated! There is even room for a couch, a small table 2 chairs and a sink along with a refrigerator. The area is centrally located in Palermo and is walking distance to many restaurants and a shopping outlet. You do need to get a taxi to go to the Ricoleta cemetery. If you have a late flight to catch, you can stow your luggage at the hotel and there is even a shower and bathroom that is clean with fresh towels where you can freshen up before your flight. On arrival, they do give you a welcome drink and a small appetizer which is great. The staff are very nice and helpful. Just be wary of the taxi drivers who try to get more money from you. The amount from the hotel to the airport should be $850 pesos with luggage unless you have a huge amount of luggage, we only had 1 each along with our carry-on.
I travel a lot for work all over the world. Very rarely am I pleasantly surprised by a hotel. Well... Fierro did it. Love everything about this place: bright spacious room, very clean, service is outstanding. Free wine tasting with Victoria was very good (I learned some things about wine). Lots of nice restaurants nearby.
Top-notch service from beginning to the end of my stay. The staff is amazing helping with every need. The rooms are beautifully decorated and spacious. Breakfast was delicious and a good variety. I was very happy with this boutique hotel and would definitely recommend staying here.
I reserved two rooms in April for a November stay. I had many questions during those few months, and the front desk staff always responded quickly.
They arranged for a driver to pick us up at the airport; we used the same driver for each airport trip.
The rooms were great, with fabulous AC, hot water pressure, and amenities. The location was superb; there was never a problem getting a taxi. Local restaurants abound; be sure to reserve for the more popular ones in advance of your visit. The hotel can help with that as well.
I have stayed in many hotels around the world and I rate this hotel and most importantly, their fabulous staff, among the top three. It is not a grand, sprawling hotel like the Georges V or St. Regis, but a fanastic, small boutique hotel that takes its hospitality seriously. I would stay here again!
My daughter and I received an upgrade to a balcony suite which was a very pleasant surprise. The balcony was spacious and the room was very large with a sitting area and a huge bottle of water. This is a big deal as we went to 2 expensive boutique hotels in Uruguay (Punta del Este and Colonia) that provided no complimentary water except in the mini-bar for up to $6 USD, so this also was wonderful. The room is gorgeous and the adjoining restaurant UCO (where we also had complimentary delicious breakfasts) was excellent. The Palermo district is a very nice neighborhood. And what really impressed us was the staff who were extremely helpful, friendly and accommodating - even offering us pool and shower amenities after we checked out (we were to be picked up from hotel to airport after 5 p.m.). We didn't do that but had "tea" in UCO where we ate fries and lamb empanadas. Mmmm. Couldn't have asked for any better hotel in my brief stay in Buenos Aires.
