How to Get There
A boutique hotel with wonderful suites and superb service. Really this is a unique property. I am so glad that we chose to stay here rather than in a larger deluxe property that is similar to other deluxe properties throughout the world. The complimentary wines and hor d'oeuvres provided in the lobby area add to the charm of this very special hotel
Hotel had an excellent location and the rooms were very well appointed. Definitely recommend this hotel. We were treated like guests at someones home. The front desk personnel made sure we were well taken care of.
I stayed here for 2 nights with friends and we all shared one room. I have a number of good things to say about Algodon: The room was very large and the hotel fully accommodated our request for a third bed, which was totally comfortable. The hotel is well located in the Recoleta neighborhood. The bathroom was large and bright. Breakfast was included at the cafe next door. The concierges were very helpful and nice. Overall, this is a moderately priced, comfortable option. But it is not a five star luxury boutique hotel. There are 2 rooms per floor, so the scale is quite small. The pool on the roof is tiny. And while the room was totally comfortable, the decor was a bit old/tired. To be clear, it was perfectly pleasant. I just tend to consider 5 star as a more luxe than this hotel. I would consider this a good to very good option. If 3.5 stars was an option, that’s what I’d give this!
We had 2 stays here on the way to Antartica and back. The only shame is that we did not say here longer. the hotel is excellent, the staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are well appointed. It is in a good neighbourhood. I would recommend this to anyone.
My wife and I spent several days in Buenos Aires and luckily chose this hotel as our home base! The people manning the hotel are wonderful, very helpful in their suggestions, from lunch places, to safe travel plans. The room is however, the best part! Ours was quite large with a huge bed, seating area, and a view to a garden next door. The bathroom matched, with a full marble décor and a large shower area. All in all, this well located (Recolata) hotel is one we can heartily recommend!
