How to Get There
As a travel consultant I visited many luxury hotels over the years, and this hotel delivered one of my best experiences. It is truly a 5 Stars hotel with the most intimate and private setting. We stayed in the Ambassadeur suite, roomy and wonderful, breakfast is served in a nice quiet room without the crowds and the noise. Highly recommended! Will recommend to my travelers for sure.
Algodon Mansion is a lovely luxury boutique hotel in Recoleta. I’ve traveled to 25 counties and the staff at Algodon Mansion are the best I’ve encountered - accommodating, warm, courteous and professional. The staff truly made my trip to BA memorable. I will rave about them when telling friends about my vacation and will compare other hotel staff I encounter in the future to them. The sleeping room is beautifully decorated, comfortable and extremely clean. The bed is perfection. The breakfast options are varied and generous. After a day of exploring BA, I appreciated relaxing in the bar and enjoying the complementary snacks and wine. (I hope Algodon Wine Estates Malbec can be found at home in the US!) I highly recommend Algodon Mansion!
My wife and I had the pleasure of a 5-night stay at Algodon Mansion for her 50th birthday trip. In the middle of our vacation we spent 2 nights at Iguazu Falls but returned to Algodon for our final night — and it felt like coming home. The rooms are fantastic and we were upgraded, no questions asked, upon our arrival. Haven’t slept this well away from home in years; you sink into the beds. Excellent breakfasts; wine, cheese and charcuterie available every evening; and comfortable wine bar to while away the hours — assuming, of course, you’d even want to leave your room if you’ve had enough time luxuriating in the well appointed bathrooms. The hotel property is great, but the incredibly warm and helpful staff put it all over the top. Leonardo and Mateus, in particular, deserve to be recognized for their warmth and friendliness. They took good care of us! Ask for the Ambassador Suite if it’s available. Will blow you away!
A perfect alternative to the big chain luxury hotels in Buenos Aires. This place has Relais & Châteaux standards with an intimate feeling. The service is simply impeccable. The breakfast is also very good.
Buenos Aires was not my idea. However, I won this trip on The Price is Right and they wouldn’t allow me to pick another destination. The hotel staff was courteous, friendly and very accommodating. We had the Royal Suite, which was 1300 sq.ft., we received a welcome bottle of wine upon our arrival. The suite was lovely and had three balconies and all the doors opened. Very centrally located. The suite was older and showing signs of wear and tear, but fine. We were surprised to learn that we would get free breakfast every morning and wine, whiskey and charcuterie were available all day, everyday. Nice. If you need to exchange USD, take only $50’s or $100’s. No place will take smaller bills than that. I finally found a bank with a Visa logo to withdraw money. I requested a car to pick us up at the airport. The hotel arranged it, but it was $135. We took a taxi on our return which only cost $30. I have no idea how much our suite cost, the room across the hall looked very nice, but much smaller.
