Great two day getaway at a luxury Inn.
Reviewed 7 days ago

From our arrival to our departure, my wife and I were well received, accommodated, and catered to our needs (relxation without bother) during our stay. We enjoyed our Northern Light room with King size bed, fireplace, and whirlpool tub for two. The bed was amazingly comfortable, the whirlpool was a great feature to relax while you soak, and the fireplace was the perfect touch for a cold day. We selected a fruit and cheese platter that was accompanied by bubbly (added cost) which was a good way to start our arrival. The morning breakfast was like eating at a high end restaurant and the afternoon tea and snack was great. We absolutely enjoyed the welcoming employees and service. We will definately be returning. Thank you for an amazing stay.

Wonderful inn!!

We stayed here Thanksgiving night after our family gathering. We were 2 sets if grandparents, parents and a granddaughter.

We had three rooms and we loved them all.

We were in the Garden Room, with a comfortable bed, and love seat in front of the gas fireplace. Modern bath with big shower too.

Our son, daughter-in-law and 11 year old granddaughter were in the hideaway suite, perfect for them. A queen bedroom and down a hall a sitting bv room with a twin sleep sofa and a second tv.

The second set of grandparents were in a charming room in carriage house with a cherished bathtub.

We were welcomed both by the owner and lovely interns from Bournemouth, UK.

Breakfast was delicious with choices.

We all loved the Captains House!!

A Wonderful Winter Stay
Reviewed 3 weeks ago

We loved our stay in January at the Captain's House Inn. We stayed in the Hiram Harding Room, which was huge and beautiful. The bathroom wasn't anything special, but everything else - the bed, the fireplace, and the wooden beams overhead all made for a cozy stay in the winter. Staff was friendly and the breakfast was really good. Would stay again!

Perfectly relaxing

thank you all at Captain's House Inn for providing my wife and me a wonderful stay. We loved the room, with the fireplace and chairs, to sip some wine with the cheese, crackers, and chocolate covered strawberries provided. Very delicious breakfast in the morning, with a restful sleep in between. We rather enjoy the off-season, seems a bit more intimate. Thank you and best in 2019
