How to Get There
Staff was very warm and hospitable. Wonderful amenities. 20 minute walk, short bike ride or drive to Chatham beach and shops/restaurants. Would definitely go again and loved the whirl pool and private patio .
This is the second or third time we have stayed at The Captain's House, and we just love it so much. We actually live close by but feel we are a world apart when we stay here. The breakfast and afternoon tea are hearty and delicious, and the inn easily accommodates gluten free requests. The rooms are beautiful and comfortable. This time we stayed in the spacious Wild Pigeon room, with an incredible bed and fireplace. I didn't want to leave!
Great weekend at a beautiful inn. The room was clean and spacious, staff were very helpful and polite. Breakfast was delightful. The grounds are beautiful and we would like to return in warmer weather.
After staying at over 20 different inns on the cape over many years, we always end up back at the Captains House Inn because we know the owners, staff and beautiful rooms and grounds will not ever let us down. The breakfasts and afternoon tea is always enjoyable.
Cozy, warm, friendly with a delicious breakfast to start the day and tea to relax and recharge.
This was our second, but not last visit there. Off season is definitely the way to go; both reduced crowds and prices.
