How to Get There
We truly enjoyed our recent stay at Ashley Manor. The beautiful setting, the quiet retreat and the lovely hosts made our trip to the Cape special! The ability to have a fire in our room each night was so romantic and our room was huge! From the minute you step into the home you step back into history. The owners are more than happy to share information and gave us great suggestions for dinner and things to do!
Pat and Vince are great hosts quick to help the minute you arrive. They gave quick tour of the common areas including the dining area where they serve a wonderful breakfast! We stayed in the Queen Charlotte's Suite. Vince showed us how to use the fireplace and jacuzzi. The suite was well laid out with a separate areas that include a bath with large shower, room with the jacuzzi, and a beautiful bedroom with nice seating area near the fireplace. The king sized bed has luxurious sheets that we liked so much Pat told us where to buy for our home. We are definitely coming back again!
These folks know how to do it right!! Vince and Pat have corporate back grounds and have applied their experience to really running a tight and delightful ship. They both understand that their guest's satisfaction is the reason they are in business. They were both wonderful hosts, always concerned about our comfort and enjoyment of the area. Breakfast was delicious and filling every morning and we enjoyed visiting with Vince and Pat while we ate. Vince gave us a tour of the inn, explaining all it's rich history. We are not really B&B people but decided to stay here based on it's location (within walking distance to the whale watching cruise dock). It turned out to be one of the nicest places we stayed during our entire five week vacation in the north east. We highly recommend Ashley Manor.
I really can't fault this lovely historic Inn. I f you want to stay in an elegantly furnished, ideally situated house where every need has been anticipated to make your visit as enjoyable as possible, then this is the place. Spotlessly clean, with sumptuous bedding, tasteful decoration, gorgeous home-cooked breakfasts and a quiet location enabling a good night's sleep. Just a couple of minutes drive to nearby eateries, and a minute or two further to the marina where there are other eating options and whale watching tours, however if staying outside of the summer season these may be closed. We found the Ashley Manor to be an ideal location for sightseeing around Cape Cod and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
We stayed at the Ashley Manor for a weekend away and absolutely loved it. The innkeepers were so nice and took great care of us with recommendations and amazing breakfasts. The inn is lovely with lots of charm and the bed and linens were divine.
Great location with a nice patio and grounds. We would recommend this inn to anyone and hope to make it back soon.
