How to Get There
Had a wonderful stay at the Ashley Inn! Accommodating Innkeepers, excellent breakfasts, beautiful grounds. Our suite (Canterbury) was very nice, clean, comfortable bed. Definitely recommend this place!
Built in 1699 and proud of it. Superb room with comfortable bed. All the old world charm of rural UK England let alone New England. Stunning home cooked breakfast on the patio in the morning and the house is spotless - a very lovely and sumptuous home from home.
My husband and I and our friends were all celebrating our 30th wedding anniversaries. From what we had seen online, we were already looking forward to our stay at Ashley Manor. We were not disappointed! What a treat! Vince and Pat are such great hosts. We loved all our talks with them. They had great recommendations for shopping, dining. beaches, etc. The house was so comfortable and the attention to even the smallest of details was 1st class. And the breakfasts! Wow -- they really outdid themselves. Vince overheard my friend mention one night that peaches were his least favorite fruit. Vince had made peach scones for breakfast the next morning (which were so yummy), but he served my friend blueberry muffins. That's the kind of detail I'm talking about. One night we brought a blueberry pie back to the inn. Vince and Pat warmed it up for us, served us dessert on the patio, and then cleaned up after us. Boy, were we spoiled. We would definitely recommend Ashley Manor if you are planning to be on the Cape.
My husband and I spent 2 nights at Ashley Manor to celebrate our 15th anniversary. We had never been to a Bed and Breakfast before, but wanted to try something more romantic than a regular hotel. Everything was absolutely WONDERFUL. The property was gorgeous, the house was magnificent, our room was cozy and impeccably clean. Breakfast each morning was outstanding, and Vince remembered my husband's dietary restrictions and accommodated him brilliantly. Pat and Vince went above and beyond in every way to make our stay comfortable, making dinner reservations for us, recommending local activities, and even providing beach towels and chairs for our trip to the beach. I'm already planning out our next visit.
My wife and I returned for 4 relaxing nights at the Ashley Manor. Pat and Vince greeted us on our arrival and immediately we felt we were with friends. It has been a couple years since our last stay on the Cape, but the Ashley Manor is like a home away from home. Bright, spacious and comfortable. Even better than the last time we were here. We woke refreshed each morning after a relaxing sleep, in the King George room. Each morning we enjoyed a delicious breakfast on the patio, with the other guests, prepared by Vince, and each was a unique and different mix of fruit, muffins, a main course. Vince and Pat were attentive to our needs, and were ready with suggestions for interesting places to visit, on the Cape and the islands of Nantucket and Martha's Vineyard, including making arrangements for the ferry and tours. Four days went much too fast, We are happy with out choice to return to the Ashley Manor, and hope to we can return again.
