How to Get There
This trip to Cape Cod was only a day trip and a friend recommended The Palmer House for the stay. As soon as I went on the site I immediately knew this was the place to stay. It was the most delightful 'stay away from home' stay. The feel around the house is comfortable and warm. And the caretakers are friendly and most hospitable. A must stay if you're visiting Falmouth!
~The delighted guests who stayed in the SL Clemens aka 'Mark Twain' room...enjoy!
Stayed at Palmer House in December, at the height of the holiday season. Falmouth rolled out the red carpet to people visiting from near and far. And the Palmer House was the perfect host!! Hospitality was outstanding, food was excellent and ambience was near-perfect.
This family really understands hospitality! They went out of their way to make us feel welcome, and nothing is too much trouble. The room is spotlessly clean and the breakfast delightful. I wish them well with their new venture
My wife and I chose the Palmer House Inn in Falmouth as our base for a five day trip to Cape Cod. It was a great decision. Falmouth is a lovely town with good facilities in terms of restaurants and shops and the Inn is ideally located within a short walk of Main Street. The Inn itself is lovely, full of character, and our room was terrific with a large and very comfortable bed and great bathroom facilities, all kept in immaculate condition. Our hosts, Tom and Billy, could not have been nicer. They made us feel very welcome, the staff were lovely and service was not only very good but there was a real sense of fun and engagement with the guests.Breakfast was just treat time ! Nothing was too much trouble, the food was lovely and came in such generous portions that the walk downtown became a necessity after breakfast. Although some refurbishment work was taking place on the property when we were there, it did not cause us any disturbance whatsoever and our room was lovely and quiet throughout our stay. Tom and Billy were great hosts and also provided really good advice as to where we should visit and how best to get there. It was a really lovely and memorable stay which we will never forget.
Me and my wife staid at the hotel for three nights . It is a wonderful place , very clean and very cozy . The staff is very kind and very friendly. The rooms are decorated ,the breakfast is excellent and the owners Tom and Billy are always there and always willing to help .we really enjoyed being at the Palmer House Inn and we will surely come back .
