How to Get There
I was very keen on spending two nights there because I knew that this hotel is very special. Belonging to the group of classic first class Swiss hotels. Since I am a freak of traditional Swiss Hotels I had to visit Les Trois Couronnes. Situated at the shore of Lake Geneva, elegant, charming. The reception was very nice. But there was this scent...Overpowering, nasty, aggressive. Please change it.
The room was perfect, there was a complimentary bottle of white wine in the fridge, thank you. There was a mobile, very handy for the hotel guests. I was too scared to take it out with me. Anyway, a good idea.
Breakfast for which one had to pay additionally, was a bit disappointing and rather frugal. Two kind of breads, no rolls, sorry...The choice of cheese was meagre. Poor collection of fruits. Do not get me wrong, I did enjoy my breakfast, even though coffee was not good, but there was nothing of this wow! feeling of 5 star hotels. No regional produce, no local pastry, no home made cakes. Some time before I visited a three star hotel in Torun (Poland) and I still remember a magnificent and colourful display of all the wonderful local cheeses and herrings and salads ... This breakfast should be included in the room price and if not, try harder.
I had no time to visit the SPA unfortunately.
Special thanks to the staff, nice guys.
Had an enjoyable stay. Staff, restaurant and bar are nice places to be. Bedrooms well kept but a little Quirky when it comes to complex tv requiring written instructions to get it to work.
Love the toothbrush with your name printed on it. A lovely idea.
Great bar staff with great experience with wines and spirits. We had the taster menu with local red wine. A lovely experience with great service.
Hotel de Trois Couronnes is a must when visiting Vevey Switzerland. This 5 Star Hotel offers all the amenities for a perfect vacation. The rooms are large and well appointed with stunning views of Lake Geneva.
The location is perfect! The concierge will help plan a nice day of sightseeing, biking or dinning in the area. They are extremely helpful and knowledge always greeting you with a smile and willingness to help.
The terrace restaurant is lovely, serving an excellent breakfast and happy hour. After a long day, relax in the pool, take a jacuzzi or steam bath.
The hotel and staff are amazing. We cannot wait to come back!

I picked the hotel des trois couronnes for my last night in Switzerland during my recent visit. I had wanted to stay here on previous visits but I had once or twice finished up in Montreux. I had travelled from Saas Fee and visited also for the first time Leukerbad and the hot springs. later on the same day i made my way by bus and train to Vevey.
Being Winter time it was dark (5 pm) on my arrival I had a rough idea where the hotel was and I walked (a taxi would have been better) to the hotel form the train station.
The porter took my luggage at the hotel entrance I then proceeded to the check in area where the formalities were handled promptly. As it happens the concierge had to organize my early breakfast and departure arrangements for the following day and was keen to get it done at that time in some respects I would have done it a bit later on nevertheless it was organized and a pleasant lady showed me to the room.
It is a 5 star establishment and the room did not disappoint in any way. It was very spacious, high ceilings and very well equipped with nothing omitted. I proceeded to take a long relaxing bubble bath before I when to put on my Robe which was neatly folded up on the bed. Within the robe was a wooden toothbrush in a glass tube with my name on it I thought that was a very nice touch and definitely a first for me.
There was also free water and a free half bottle of white wine in the mini bar. I went downstairs to see if I could get a table for Dinner and the waiter went on to say there were no tables but if you follow me you can eat in the Bar.
I thought that the experience could have been handled better but I suppose if there were no tables then the Bar was it.
Everything was good and the service especially from the Bar manager was good so I then went back to the room for some sleep before a 6am start.
All up it was a wonderful stay I would highly recommend anybody, singles couples families old or young to experience the hotel I didn't have time to visit the Spa so that will have to wait for next time
Wonderful old building, which remember a great people like Russian composer Tchaikovsky, German writer Tomas Man and famous photographer Helmut Newton. For Bulgarians interesting is that the last Bulgarian King Simon the Second decided to merry there with his wife Margarita Asebo.
In Louis XV restaurant guests can see hi-tech and old furniture.
I highly recommend this place for romantic weekends or cozy stay
