These accommodations are also found on the second and third floors and hold the same bedding configurations as the Bedrooms, and all offer balconies and large bathrooms with separate showers and bathtubs. Master suites are the largest of the lot, occupying the fourth floor and boasting stunning mountain and valley views. These roomy pads include a centerpiece fireplace, sitting area and a minibar.
The dining area is stylish and contemporary, with a chic silver theme throughout. The cuisine is prepared in front of you by the world-class chef, and you’ll find a sumptuous mixture of Swiss and international flavors. Expect dishes, such as pan-fried scallops, roasted sirloin steak and white chocolate and strawberry mousse cake.As part of your all-inclusive board, the chef will create a special set menu, and all drinks are included, even premium brands and house champagne. The wine cellar is one of the star attractions, with an exemplary selection of bottles from around the world for your perusal. Drinks are actually so inclusive that, if you like, you can pop behind the bar and mix yourself a cocktail or grab a cola from the fridge.
The Lodge is just five minutes from the center of Verbier and only minutes from the main Medran lift station. Verbier, part of the renowned Four Valleys area, is situated in the Alps in southwesternSwitzerland. It’s one of the most desirable destinations in the world, and the scenery is breathtaking. The Lodge is surrounded by a lush green forest area, with towering snow-capped mountains everywhere you look.
How to Get There
All about this place was special. Exquisite food, warm and friendly staff and a beautifully designed chalet. Nothing was too much of a problem. It stands out as one of the best places we've stayed in. A real gem of a place.
Before going to the Lodge I tried to read about the concept Mr. Richard Brenson is trying to create with his idea of retreats and resorts. In the beginning, I was reluctant to go, but its a good thing that I changed my mind and decided to try the idea.
From the first moment and before we stepped into the place we were welcomed by a really enthusiastic member of the staff who greeted us and led us inside where we met with Ashly who took us on the grand tour and to our room.
in this place, we felt like we were visiting one member of our family where he gave us one bedroom in his house and we always meet with everybody in the living room to chat and had breakfast and dinner on the same table together in the dining room.
The hotel feeling where you don't know who is in the next room is not in this Lodge. all the guests knew each other, sharing the experience of the day and exchanging tips where to go next. I liked this very much and if I have the chance to return I definitely will or even better try one other place of Mr. Richard Brenson`s retreats.
The biggest plus of the Lodge is the staff (Ashly, Naomi, Alex, Max...&co.) they liked what they are doing and they are good in it.
Slamdunk one of the best places we have stayed... Awesome ammenties and location.
Thanks to Ash, Nick, Henry, Max and rest of the staff who made it so special.
Will be comming back for sure!
Nick, Tina, Jack and Ella Mckenzie
Hint - try "The Max special" behind the bar and grilled cheese toasties.
When you're ion the Swiss Alps, the main attraction is the scenery, the exhilarating beauty of the surrounding mountains and the quaintness of the villages.
But if you stay at The Lodge in Verbier, you may be tempted to never venture out.
While we went hiking every day of our three day visit in September (which the lodge staff encourages by packing you lunch or snacks in a provided daypack and giving you expert advice on the trails), several others stayed in, relaxing in the jacuzzi, sitting in the sun, playing pool and indulging in the ever-flowing wine, beer, cocktails and other beverages and the seemingly always available and excellent tasting food.
To be honest, the facilities here are very comfortable, but in the nature of a lodge rather than a lux hotel. However, the staff is beyond wonderful and the amenities can't be beat.
The meals are served family style, but few families have the kind of gourmet cuisine turned out of this small but extremely accomplished kitchen staff.
And, it needs to be emphasized that this is all inclusive in the fullest sense. The only thing we paid for in addition were for massages in the small spa.
This was one of the most memorable stays on any vacation and my wife and I are very well traveled. We visited at the end of the summer season and took advantage of a special rate. In winter, you must rent the entire lodge, but individual rooms are available in summer.
Thanks to Sir Richard Branson for this great getaway spot.
From the moment we arrived we were offered a warm welcome from all the staff. Staying as a party of 16 we hired the whole lodge and the staff knew our names after our first introduction which was great and added a personal touch to our stay. The rooms were all different with excellent views from them all. jacuzzi on the patio whilst snowing was incredible - certainly wouldn't be doing that in the uk.
