A room or suite at a glam five-star hotel on the Cannes seafront, with breakfast and a spa-treatment discount
The location couldn't be better at the five-star Radisson Blu 1835 Hotel & Thalasso in Cannes, an elegant edifice right on the seafront, overlooking the lively port. Step outside the hotel, and it’s only a five-minute stroll to the Palais des Festivals et de Congres and Les Croisettes. But stay here, and you'll see what helped this TripAdvisor GreenLeaders Bronze-level stay also snag a Certificate of Excellence.
Signature colors of ivory and purple set a refined scene throughout, and your abode makes a perfect escape from all the bustle below, too. The adjoining Les Thermes des Marins Spa and Thalasso – with scores of treatments rooms, indoor and outdoor seawater pools and a sea-view Jacuzzi – is a reason for visiting in itself. And the height of luxury is the roof, where you’ll find a fabulous restaurant with a 360-degree view of the famous old harbor, sea and city.
Rooms and suites
Sea View Deluxe rooms have balcony views of the Med or the old harbor, and are painted in calming neutral shades. Thoughtful touches include light-therapy alarm clocks and Nespresso coffee machines. Mediterranean suites offer lovely separate living rooms.
The aptly named 360 restaurant on the roof has impressive views wherever you look, and signature dishes include whole sea bass cooked in a salt crust. There’s also Le Bio restaurant at the spa, offering healthy, Japanese-style fare by the pool.
Les Thermes Marins Spa and Thalasso certainly knows how to offer the best in pampering. There are 46 treatments rooms, a heated indoor and outdoor seawater swimming pool, a sauna, a Jacuzzi, a hammam and a multi-sensory shower.
The hotel is ideally located right on the seafront, a five-minute walk from the Palais des Festivals et de Congres, and next to the charming old quarter of Le Suquet, with its cobblestone streets, boutiques and cafés. It’s also right in front of the port, which is always packed with boats.
