Whimsical sleep with beachy charm and just enough urban edge
In a town thronged by moguls and hangers-on during the Cannes Film Festival, it’s refreshing to find a property that doesn’t take it all so seriously. Beginning with the playful red neon sign that beckons guests inside to a welcoming reception area complete with pet goldfish, Hotel Colette reminds its patrons to pause and relax between power lunches and premieres. When they’re ready to get to work, there’s WiFi and plenty of nooks for wheeling and dealing. For those here simply for play, all the better.
In the Area
Stop in at the Chanel shop and buy a bottle of Chanel No. 5, the scent that was born from a meeting in Cannes. Or, imagine you’re a Bond villain at La Croisette Casino. Feel like something a tad more low-key? Explore the sleepy villages of the Riviera as you follow in the footsteps of Picasso and F. Scott Fitzgerald in Antibes and Juan les Pins.
