How to Get There
We had a group of friends who stayed for 3 nights while visiting the Normandy region. We were SO surprised at the beautiful new rooms at this hotel, built in an annex building in the "orchard". When we arrived at the hotel, it was a beautiful old building sitting close to the street. Little did we know that behind the hotel was so much green space, fruit trees, and a new building with brand new rooms. They were spacious, ultra-modern, and extremely comfortable.
Everyone went out of their way to help us, the breakfast was excellent, and the location was perfect for everything we wanted to do. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Normandy.
Great location! Beautifully remodeled rooms and very clean. The owner was welcoming and very helpful. Enjoyed coffee in the sitting room and wine outside in the garden. The hotel also has private parking which was helpful because we rented car. Highly recommend this hotel. Best hotel on our 12 day vacation!
What a beautiful place to stay if you are in the Bayeux region. Luxury rooms and a friendly welcome awaits you. My father is disabled and the room suited his needs perfectly. I will definitely book this wonderful hotel when I come back to this area.
I spent only a single night at Domaine de Bayeux, just after leaving the 75th D-Day memorials near "Omaha Beach". On my next trip to Normandy, I will stay longer!
I'm a solo traveler, and I booked one of the Petite Chambre rooms. The room was not large of course, but it was very comfortable and very quiet. The bedding was excellent, the shower was hot, and I slept like the dead. Hospitality? Le Domaine has that also. The manager (Nadège) has a smile that makes you feel at home instantly, and the staff was extremely courteous and helpful.
The hotel is conveniently located to many nice restaurants, shops, bars and cultural opportunities. The "Tapestry Museum" (Musee de la Tapisserie) is a 5-minute walk. Yeah - I see the eye-rolls, but this is no ordinary tapestry!
My husband and I had booked tour from Paris to Omaha beach Normandy and decided to stay over in the lovely town of Bayeux. The Domaine de Bayeux is a lovely property with beautiful gardens walking distance to town. Great breakfast served. Room spacious and clean. The receptionist was just wonderful! Would strongly recommend to family and friends!
