Great service!
Reviewed 21 hours ago

We booked a room through booking.com that wasnt a room that they offered. We were in a hurry to drop off our luggage and get some place so I quickly told Aaron at the front desk. I wasnt asking for anything, but just wanted to give him a heads up for future bookings. We had another person coming in but we would make the current room work. While we were out Aaron called me and was able to give us a larger room and a pull out bef and they were alread all set up for us when we got to the hotel. Everyone in the hotel is so nice and friendly. The room was great as well! Thank you so much for going above and beyond Aaron you helped make the birthday weekend special.

Excellent!

I have been staying at the Montrose Hotel for over 14 years; it is a wonderful boutique hotel that is like a home away from home; the customer service is amazing - many of the staff at the hotel have been there since I have been going there and before......to me that speaks volumes about the "family" feel they bring to their work; in turn, I am made to feel like family when I stay there - it is a rare and lovely element; similarly the hotel is always so clean, as are the rooms and the pool area has a spectacular view with great deck service and ambiance; the restaurant offers great service, good food, and a lovely complimentary vino and vinyl experience each afternoon. I do love this hotel and all the wonderful staff there - from valet, to housekeeping, to each and every customer service member, I feel valued and appreciated - my stay matters. You can't ask for more that!

Stay away from this unprofessional hotel.

We just checked out from the unprofessional Montrose West Hollywood hotel where we spent a terrible 7-night stay (May 30 - June 06); here’s why:
At Check in, we were asked to pay for the entire stay and place a deposit, which we gladly accepted and requested that the payment is split over 2 credit cards. 3 days after, this hotel upgraded their payment system & charged both our cards a total of almost 5,500 USD for a 1,876 USD stay which blocked our credit cards and left my card maxed out with no ability to access my funds, except the limited cash I have on me. Till now, we did not receive any apology from this hotel and to make things worse, after we checked out, the hotel charged us 150 USD for late check out which we did not request, utilize or authorize.
How is it fine that a hotel in West Hollywood that claims to be a professional 4 star hotel keeps on authorizing guests’ credit cards without their consent and be rude to them when they rightfully complain? To show how unprofessional the Montrose Hotel really is, after we complained about the $150 late checkout charge, one of the staff became rude and aggressive. How ironic!
Having been a frequent traveler for more than 10 years, this by far is the most unprofessional hotel I have stayed at.

Great hotel and location

Had an original issue with our booking through Agoda as the hotel never recieved it, after 1hr it was sorted only to jave an issue with our bank card for deposit, but once it was all sorted couldnt fault the hotel or staff. Got an upgrade to a suite for the initial hassle, room was large and modern, huge bathroom and two huge TVs. Hotel has an happy hour with champagne and drinks downstairs every day. Located in a quite side street located between Sunset Bvld and Santa Monica Bvld, 5 minute walk to each. If I came back to LA I would stay here again.

Absolutely Amazing! My favorite hotel home!

I LOVE the Montrose Hotel. Lovely quiet WeHo neighborhood, short distance to everything wonderful about Los Angeles, very short walking distance to Sunset strip cafes, restaurants, shopping, spas, supermarkets, and my fav bookstore Book Soup. I adore the music/art deco theme. The suites are perfect for my business trips because they are usually a week to 10 days long, the apartment is my fav, feels like home. there is a beautiful tree just outside the bedroom window, I literally hear birds singing every morning. The studio suites are very nice too, amazing how the interior designer used the 500 sf space to have four different zones, kitchen, living room, bedroom and spacious bathroom...the robes are awesome, gray fleece with a hood, so cozy for watching movies on their widescreen tv or just waking up getting ready for the day. Roof-top pool, cabana, and pool bev/food service, and the VIEW! all so awesome,..yet all this awesomeness would be meaningless if it weren't for the most hospitable staff...love love love them...in particular, we have Odelissa, Logan and Craig. It's their passion to make everyone feel welcome. They do their jobs so well within the compliance and standards of the hotel. last but not least Housekeeping is always efficient, the rooms are clean and so beautiful. I consider this place my LA home. =)
