How to Get There
Overall, satisfactory experience.
This is a convention and business hotel. Service was generally efficient and acceptable. Room was clean, front office check-in was efficient, wifi was included (but a bit slow).
If you're expecting Asian - type service, don't. Bottled water was not free, upkeep was a bit lacking (hallways looks worn out), elevators was noisy and slow.
The best hotel if you want to go to a niners game (which we were). Overall, an OK experience.
This hotel is nice. We stay every year for a dance convention. The staff is great! Food is good but a bit pricey. The service from the bar is good and friendly but a bit slow. Maybe could have planned for a little bit of extra staff?
One thing...the elevator got stuck but the management got it working as quick as possible and was able to offer an alternative elevator so we did not have to climb all the stairs.
Overall, I would recommend this hotel. Probably will bring my own snacks and just use the restaurant for breakfast and go offsite for lunch and/or dinner.
Breakfast Buffet was good.
I was very happy with my room. It was very clean and modern. But the doors to the rooms need to be replaced because the hydraulic system on the doors makes the door close very slowly, which is annoying, and then slams right before it closes. It can be loud and annoying when several doors are heard closing like that over and over again. I could hear a lot of noise in the hallways when people were talking out in the hall. But I didn’t hear much noise from other rooms.
I loved that they had the Peet’s coffee shop downstairs! Best feature in my opinion. The breakfast buffet was too expensive for the level of service, food options, and how the food tasted. I was not told about the $5 service fee for the buffet. It was not a gratuity, and I was only served an orange juice. I felt ripped off, even if it was just $5. It seemed dishonest. $34 for a buffet that wasn’t very good... no thank you.
