An Oasis in Santa Barbara

The Spanish Garden in was a wonderful surprise right in the heart of Santa Barbara. It is a quiet oasis with a pool and lush courtyard within walking distance of State Street. The rooms were spacious, clean and lovely and the staff was fabulous. Highly recommend this hotel!

Cozy Europen-style hotel, beautiful garden with a little fountain, spacious room with a nice patio. Everything was perfect, the staff was very attentive and also kid-friendly. We would come here again!

Beautiful Hotel

We stayed here for two nights during our road trip and absolutely loved the hotel. My nan had previously stayed here and recommend it to me and my boyfriend.
It is so pretty and unique and the staff couldn't be more helpful. We arrived at about 8pm one evening and when we got there the very kind man on reception showed us around and to our room where he had lit our fireplace and he even said he could make us some popcorn and we could pick a movie (they have a whole movie cupboard!). We had a lovely terrace overlooking the courtyard and the location of the hotel is only a short walk from the main shops. We will definitely recommend this hotel to friends and family and hope to return soon!

Little Gem

I don’t have a negative thing to say about this hotel or my experience staying there. My room was immaculately clean and charming. The grounds of the hotel are beautiful. The staff of the hotel is friendly and eager to help, and they serve a delicious continental breakfast that’s included in the cost of your room. I was in Santa Barbara for business but wouldn’t hesitate to return to this hotel for a relaxing long weekend.

All the little details that make the difference...

My husband, daughter and I stayed at the Barcelona Suite over Memorial Weekend and we had a wonderful time. The hotel staff was incredible from check in to check out. Luciano, the manager, is a joy to have around and he made us feel completely taken care of. Bella, kitchen staff, was very sweet and attentive.
We received a bottle of wine to take to our room, we had wine and cheese tastings in the afternoon, we hung out by the charming pool and enjoyed an one of a kind delicious breakfast (they even had almond milk and gluten free muffins!). I was also impressed with the memory foam pull out mattress where my daughter slept in the adjunct room by the fireplace. Believe me it was as comfortable as her bed at home. All the little details did make a difference! We are already planning our next trip to this enchanting hotel.
