Phenomenal service
Reviewed 3 days ago

I was one of the fifteen people referenced below who celebrated my father's 90th birthday at the Seal Cove Inn. I second my sister's complimentary review of the Seal Cove Inn and want to further commend Kevin and his crew for their service. I left my computer at the Inn. They were so accommodating in getting it to me - out of state (and even would have driven it to me, had my flight not been lvg so soon.) The high level of service was evident throughout the wkd, be it at breakfast or guiding guests to the nature trails that surround the Inn. The phenomenal service complements the gorgeous rooms. Ours was on the first floor and opened up to a lovely patio. The Seal Cove Inn gets my highest recommendation for a calming retreat.

Couldn't have been better

Fifteen of us stayed at the Seal Cove Inn for my father's 90th birthday. WOW, we couldn't have asked for a better place. The staff went above and beyond, Kevin, Stacy and the others. The breakfasts are amazing, not to mention a work of art. The garden is lovely, the proximity to hiking and the ocean was perfect, it was calm ands serene, and just a short car ride away from the hustle and bustle of Half Moon Bay on the weekend. I can't wait to go back. Thank you for making my dad's 90th birthday so special.

Calming property and great atmosphere

We had two nights scheduled here at the end of our trip. The inn is beautiful and located with property that overlooks a marine reserve. This made for a great walk after a long drive. Kathy checked us in, offered us freshly baked chocolate chip cookies and beverages. Then she escorted us to our room upstairs. Our room was lovely and overlooked the garden in the back of the property. The fireplace and French doors added a nice touch as you could open the doors and hear the ocean. It was heavenly. The walk along the bluff, in the woods was beautiful or if you desire the beach, it's just down the way, perhaps a 15 minute walk. It is currently pupping season and seals were on the beach. Kathy loaned us binoculars and we enjoyed our walks. The inn offered complimentary wine in the evening, and beverages at all times. There is a small refrigerator upstairs so you don't have to head down if you need something. Breakfast can be taken in your room or in the dining room. There is a coffee machine that makes coffee and several types of espresso drinks in the lobby. Kathy arranged for a couples massage in our room and it was a splurge we enjoyed. Our room was lovely and the sheets on the bed can only be described as creamy. The bed was so comfy and sheets so wonderful-it was difficult to leave. Seal Cove Inn is beautiful and if in this area, don't miss it.

Blissful Perfection! Excellent Staff! What a delight!

Seal Cove Inn is truly a gem. My husband and I were thrilled with the staff, the room (gorgeous), the location, and amenities. From an exquisite room with luscious bath products to homemade cookies at night, we felt pampered and welcomed. The staff members were so kind, helpful, and profession. The atmosphere was simply delightful. It's a short, lovely walk to the tide pools and trails. And...to top it off, the breakfasts (included) are divine. Thank you, Seal Cove Inn! We'll be back!
