Visit to Lakehouse Resort

We stayed three nights and enjoyed out visit. The room was large, clean and nicely furnished. The staff was very friendly. We enjoyed our breakfast at The Decoy. We rented a kayak (at no extra charge) and paddled the length of the lake. All very nice.

Clever hotel

Cool location and idea. Well designed rooms and facilities. Loved the Decoy restaurant/bar... great atmosphere. Friendly staff. Fire pits and S’mores were fun. I Will want to come again to enjoy all the amenities more fully, like golf and the water.

Speciality of the house, "NO"
Reviewed 1 day ago

Pretty from the outside, but a worn out over priced rehabilitated MOTEL on the lake. Smelly room, dirty and torn carpet and a staff that goes out of it's way to say "NO". Really upset our son and his new Bride when they asked for little things and got the specialty of the house "NO" . LARGE block of rooms for a wedding and a staff that really does not care. So sad . I'm upset overall with the hotel as is my son and his now wife, but they have to deal with the hotel direct, as it was their weekend that they planned. Still can't understand the $20 per night "Resort" fee for nothing other than parking your car. They tell you that they give you a Smore's kit (4 marshmallows, 1 Hershey bar and 2 stale gram crackers), wifi (that didnt work for almost 2 days, and to park. This is NOT a resort, but an updated motel that happens to be on a small lake.

Jenkins/Jewett wedding

We enjoyed our stay at the Lakehouse. The rooms were very clean. Loved the pool, hot tub and fire-pit. A lot of our family stayed at the Lakehouse for a couple days for a wedding in town. It was wonderful!
