Still Needs a Bit More Work

Nice hotel in a re-purposed building in the middle of San Jose.

And while a very good renovation, still a few rough spots to get through.

Very helpful and courteous staff, able to answer all my questions, help with my specific room requests and even retrieve some lost stuff (knew I was missing a charger somewhere!)

Nice lobby but a bit crowded. Rooms are very good but a bit in the small side - very limited work area and small bathroom. But plenty of outlets. Comfortable bed and well equipped bath. Just a tad cramped and subject to a lot of street noise - even with the windows closed.

Well equipped fitness room with everything I need. Nice restaurant serving meals all day, even if a bit pricey.

Very good location - across from Convention Center, Tech Museum, San Pedro Square and other city locations. Light rail station across the street and not too far from SAP Center, Mineta Airport and other local attractions.

Overall a good choice when in town.

I was here for the CTA Conference this past weekend! Love the property and the staff members especially Rose and Huy. They were the Night Crew staff that made my stay enjoyable. Full of laughter and joy!! Would definitely come back and stay here again!

Great greeting by the two gentleman at front desk. Smiled and greeted me by name as well as offered me water, acknowledged my Premier Platinum status and checked me into my room. Hotel seems charming with history. Excited to get to my room and check out my view. Note to ask for an odd numbered room or this will be your view. This is room 616. Looks like a jail wall. Perhaps the Westin can commission an artist to decorate it for them.

Stayed 2 nights during a conference. Room was a tiny bit smaller than usual hotel but for an older beautifully updated building was great. Clean, comfortable bed, nice linens, fridge in cabinet, waterfall shower and great TV.
