Nice hotel but disappointed by noise from homeless people in alley below room.
Reviewed 5 days ago

My daughter and I stayed in a junior suite recently on the 3rd floor. The room was well appointed and plenty of room for both of us. However, the room was overlooking an alley. At night, there were homeless people sleeping down below, fighting, breaking bottles and using their I-Pads and Phones. I didn't get hardly any sleep the 3 nights we were there and won't be back to stay in San Francisco anytime soon. Homeless people everywhere who get in your face - scary!

My husband spent a fair amount of time searching hotel websites for San Francisco.
The Warwick is what he chose for our 6-night accommodations. It was clean, comfortable & the price comparable to many of the hotels around it. Just west of Union Square ~ convenient to so many things, including cablecars. Our 16-year-old granddaughter was thrilled to find a Brandy Melville store (young womens' clothing) just a few blocks away. The Warwick is clean, comfortable & has a very accommodating staff. For example, when we were unpacking our bags & hanging up clothes, it became
clear that we needed more hangers. Called the desk & hangers were delivered within 5
minutes! On Day 2, our toilet wouldn't flush. Call the desk, & the plumber was there: again, in just a few minutes! Try the Warwick's "Bota" restaurant for breakfast. The French toast is the best ever! Don't spend hours hotel- hunting on the internet. Take the easy route ~ book at the Warwick!

Beautiful Room, Creaky Bed

We stayed 2 nights in the Warwick, San Francisco. Location is perfect. It was a little cooler than we expected so we did Uber most places, but there are liquor stores, restaurants, Walgreens, Starbucks... just about anything that you could need within an easy walk.

I loved the fact that we were able to add Valet to our reservation at the time of check in. You text or call to get your car, so we didn't have to wait a single time.

The check in experience was just ok. There wasn't a lot of information about the property itself or the surrounding area, which would have been really nice. There was another guy at the front desk that remembered us and was super nice, not to mention, always there. We discovered there's a bar and a restaurant right on the first floor. Bourbon is pricey but then again, we're from KY so we're a little spoiled.

We stayed in the 4 poster queen with a fireplace and a balcony. It was beyond beautiful. The decor is full of deep blues and it felt almost like we were staying in Europe. You do have to walk up a small flight of stairs, as it's on the 8th floor and the elevator goes to 7. it wasn't a problem for us. The fireplace was easy to use but didn't give off a ton of heat. I could've done with or without the balcony.

My biggest issue was that our bed was MISERABLE. You couldn't move without a squeak. I also feel like it was very small for a queen. I felt like I was constantly rolling into the middle due to a decline. Please, get a new bed in there. The frame is beautiful but the mattress or box spring or something needs to be replaced.

Very nice hotel and very well priced

Only spent one night but extremely pleased. Very nicely furnished room. Small, but everything in SF is. Helpful desk. Very well located. Absolutely would stay again if had need. I was amazed how quiet my room was in the middle of SF. That I did not expect at all.

Central, contemporary with a warm touch

Five minutes walk from UnionSquare and all its amenities, this hotel is a good choice both for holiday makers and business.
Deluxe rooms are good sized and nicely decorated. They offer a small sitting area and two bathrooms, with good shower.
Clean but not particularly silent, even if staying on the 7th floor, due to its busy location.
Quality breakfast in a nice restaurant area.
Kind and helpful staff.
