Great location easily accessible with a lovely décor and fun vibe and the wonderful rooms are well appointed with everything you could need!. Hot breakfast an additional cost but well worth it. Staff friendly and with the location at Nob Hill, I think a great value!

A good, nearly great hotel near Chinatown

I was pleasantly surprised here, and this is one of the best values of hotels I've experienced in awhile, especially compared to other rates in that city for those dates. The rooms are very spacious for San Francisco, the rooms are comfortable, and the service is friendly.

Two shortfalls in particular prevent 5 stars:
1) It's almost impossible for me to give 5 stars when the windows aren't fully covered. For this trip, it didn't matter, but I like the opportunity to sleep in. The shades go down but leave the sides exposed, so a lot of light gets in even when dark.
2) I left my room around 12:30pm for the day and housekeeping never showed up.

Beyond that, great spot. I'd likely return.

Beautiful hotel

Beautiful hotel with very comfortable beds. Beautiful food, although restaurant can open for longer. Construction next door made the view not so pretty, but otherwise everything was perfect. Clean room and bathroom

Great Nob Hill Hotel Location with a Boutique Feel!

My coworker and I stayed four nights at the Stanford Court Hotel as our conference hotel was full. It was a very nice “home away from home” experience. The hotel lobby staff were friendly and made you feel welcome. The hotel has a water dispenser whose water is awesome! I had the salmon Caesar salad at the hotel restaurant which was tasty. The hotel was close to two cable car stops so transportation was readily available to Fisherman’s Wharf & shopping. It had the feel of a boutique hotel.

Not super impressed

I had stayed at the Stanford Court Hotel before and was looking forward to this visit. Frankly I was a little disappointed . The guy checking me in was not very welcoming, the room was just OK and when I went down to the restaurant to have a meal, the service was indifferent. I liked the view from the health club overlooking two cable car routes although having no cups near the water cooler seemed odd. . On the plus side the bartender and the concierge were great. Next time I am in SF on business I will try another hotel.
