Excellent hotel
Reviewed 13 hours ago

The hotel is in the heart of downtown which made it convenient to get to the convention center. There was a Target just down the street for anything you may have needed. Even though the hotel was undergoing some minor renovations which required a detour to your room, it was still a relatively short distance to your room considering the size of the hotel. The front desk staff was AMAZING! They were so accommodating and friendly. The hotel is beautiful.

Great location, great hotel, not perfect for families with littles

This is the place to stay when wanting to experience the heart of SF. so many cool places to visit all within walking distance. The hotel alone is beautiful with lots of amenities (their gym is one of the best in hotels). However, If staying with a family with littles, note the rooms aren’t equipped with microwaves nor is there a communal access to one. For the price you pay I think there should be one on each floor for communal use, perhaps near the ice maker. The View lounge is amazing definitely a cool must do experience.

Avoid this place if you can

Takes 20 mins to check in because the Check-in agent is clueless.
The agent then tries to lie to you and be condescending.
You try but then give up.
They don’t even have drinking water in the room.
It’s even pointless writing about this place.

I hope they are upgrading services and not just the rooms...

Top of the line Marriott with a spa does not have staff on line for an evening massage! The steam room offline! I stay at a high end Marriott because after a 10 hour day working, I would like to relax... what's the point?

Great location - hotel under renovation

This will be a great hotel when the lobby renovations are completed. Rooms were very nice, but lower floors had to take two elevators to get to the rooms. The beds very comfortable. No water in rooms. Green hotel so you can bring you water bottle and fill up on a few floors. Very inconvenient. The cost was very high for the lack of finished renovations. The 39th floor bar was great, if you stay here go and enjoy the view, but get there early as it gets packed around 6 in the evening.
