Great hotel in the perfect location

This hotel is walking distance to almost everything we wanted to see in San Diego.
It is super clean and the staff is friendly and really helpful. The rooms are spacious and quiet with all the little nice touches from the Westin brand. The pool is in full exposure to the sun from morning till early afternoon, perfect for us!

Poor deal verbiage and disorganization leads to unsatisfactory customer experience

I booked a room at the westin San Diego through the marriott website 2 months in advance. I found what I thought was a good deal - stay 2 nights get 2 complimentary drinks, stay 3 nights park for free. The verbiage was a bit confusing so I called Marriott and asked if this meant that since I booked 3 nights I would park for free or if it was only one night. The lady wasnt sure so she asked a supervisor, and they said that it was free parking for a 3 night stay. Awesome! I call again at a later day because I was still unsure and ask again, this time i speak to a different person and again they confirm that with a 3 night stay I'll park for free for three nights. Now it's the day that I'm checking in and before I leave the house to head there I call the hotel itself just to once again confirm. I speak to a guest services staff member at the hotel and she isn't sure again so she puts me on hold to ask her manager and AGAIN confirms that I will park for free for three nights with a 2 night stay and get two complimentary drinks. Im told that I dont need to worry about telling the valet and that I'll just handle it at the front desk when I get there. We get to the hotel and when I bring it up at the front desk I can immediately tell that something is wrong because the front desk guy looks at us suspiciously or confused or a mix of both and then calls his manager Sochi. I tell sochi about the times that I called and how I called marriott and the hotel's guest services and how they all confirmed that I would park free with a 3 night stay and get two complimentary drinks, but this time she says that's not true and that actually I get to CHOOSE between getting two complimentary drinks OR free parking for only ONE night. She says she can't honor free parking for three nights stay which at this point I have called to confirm 3 times. She says she will talk to the staff person that I spoke to on the phone the day of our arrival. She calls us the next day and says we will get the 2 complimentary drinks and one night free parking. Well, we dont end up going to the bar to use the comp drink ticket until our last day. On the ticket it says that the bar opens at 11am. We decide to wait till 11 so we can have the drinks before leaving. The bartender is there at 11am and comes up to us and we tell her about the drink ticket and she looks at it and says that she doesnt open till 1130am. We politely point out again that it says 11am, hoping she can just quickly accommodate us, and she just tells us again that she won't open till 1130. At this point we still had things we wanted to go do so we said screw it and left without using the tickets. This experience started off the weekend on an annoying/frustrating note and ended the weekend again with an annoying note that left me feeling like the hotel needs to get all their staff on the same page. We were polite and courteous, the room was clean and the bed was nice, but I just felt like I wouldn't go back to this hotel or recommend it. In total this hotel experience cost me about 722 dollars for a 3 night stay that started annoying and ended annoying.
