How to Get There
This was an excellent hotel in every respect. The room was rather large, it was extremely quiet, it was well appointed, and everything worked. The location of the hotel was also great with the oceanfront and the Gaslamp district within walking distance. This hotel is a winner!
I loved staying at this hotel. I am so thankful they accommodate pets, my sweet dog was treated so awesome!
Naf was amazing help with bringing us all of our luggage and was incredibly personable, made sure my family felt welcomed and also made sure we had more than enough of what we needed for our stay. He also shared a few laughs with us after a very eventful day and we had lost the last sane in our minds ( if that makes sense ).
The only reason this property gets three stars is because the staff is so great. The property is in desperate need of renovation and Westin, it is the reason I will not book to stay here again. There are too many options i don't know why anyone would choose staying in a tired hotel. I didn't know there were so many shades of beige and brown but you have found them all! The other challenge is the guest room elevator is the same as the elevator for conferences being held at the hotel which means people get on a 2 to go to 3, and 3 to go to 4. If you are not part of the conference and staying at the hotel get ready for very slow rides up. Honestly its annoying.
