Stayed at hotel Republic for a total of 3 nights, but my stay was spaced out a bit. Stayed one night, then went to on a mini trip to Vegas and then came back for 2 nights. Hotel Republic was willing to keep my friends and my bags there for 2 days while we were gone. ALSO were willing to keep my breast milk I was going to donate there in their freezer as well! WHAT AMAZING SERVICE!!!
They didn't have to do any of that but were willing to and did! Some of you might think it's gross that they kept my breast milk there, but the milk I donated to that baby boy was going towards saving his life. He has a genetic defect were he develops tumors all over his little body. So I am proud that I was able to help that baby boy and had hotel Republic help me in the process of doing so.
HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend them.
Great and friendly customer service as well!!

Beautiful Hotel close to everything

Beautiful Hotel and warm inviting staff. The only reason I gave it a 4 is due to the menu and price point. Had brunch on Sunday and dinner the choices were very limited.

Suggest a more expanded menu basic breakfast 2 eggs and bacon with potatoes should not cost $26.00? I walked 8 minutes from the hotel had crab Benedict , fruit and coffee for less.

Wonderfully pleasant stay

If you are a frequent business traveler then almost all hotels start to look and feel the same. So it's a true pleasure when you encounter a hotel that is different, stylish and extremely comfortable. The Hotel Republic in San Diego is a beautiful gem of a hotel with stylishly appointed rooms; spacious washrooms with great water pressure (rare in Southern California); comfortable window seats to watch the hustle of the city below; great breakfast buffet for Elite members; a wonderful 2nd floor terrace that provides a quiet respite to your day. The hotel will meet your needs whether your stay if business or pleasure. It's well worth your while.

Wow Hotel

We've been their for 14 days and it was a super family vacations.

The situation of the hotel is amazing. 10 min walks from the Bay or 5 minutes walk from Santa Fee Trolleys/bus Station.

The room was perfect, with a lot of space and really great beds. The view from the room (we were on the 17th floor) was amazing. It was also really quiet.

The front desk people were really great and helpfull.

I would recommand this hotel to anyone.
