How to Get There
Our family of 12 gathered here for Thanksgiving 2018. We reserved rooms 5 months in advance. Unfortunately, renovations started on our building during the time we were scheduled to stay. Here is the only negative about our experience: No one notified us that our room locations had been changed in advance. Our family's rooms had been scattered all over the property. Luckily we discovered this through the Hilton app about a week before departing. The staff at the hotel was very empathetic to our situation and went to extremes to accommodate us. Not only did they relocate the entire family to one building, they discounted our rates and waived several of the add-on fees.
The renovated rooms ARE much nicer than the older rooms but the rooms we stayed in were clean, convenient and spacious.
The restaurant is a bit pricey but the food is excellent, the service is top rate and the setting on the patio is fantastic. Large groups will see a service fee on the bill. We did not realize that the gratuity was included in the service fee. Our waiter was kind enough to chase us down to delete the extra gratuity that we left. So Nice!!!
Overall, we had a great experience and a wonderful Thanksgiving!
The staff was great but the room should have been gutted. The tub, sink did not drain and the safe did not work. The staff was able to repair the tub but not the sink or safe. The room was noisy overlooking I-5 hwy. Was to be 2 queen beds but they were standard size.
Was there for a business meeting 5 nights.
The location is great as it is very close to the airport and the staff is very professional and customer oriented. We could easily rent a car with the concierge called Gordi who provided us an excellent service.
The building and rooms are unfortunately very old and you can hear all the conversation and noises from your neighbours. The light of the corridor goes also through the below part of the door.
We really enjoyed this hotel! Our family took a mini-vacation and this place was the perfect spot. The pool was exactly what the kids wanted. We loved the giant poolside checkers and chess games. Walking and biking along the bay was such a treat. The onsite restaurant provided plenty of delicious options. We asked for activities ideas at the concierge desk and we were BLOWN AWAY at how helpful Gordon was! We are grateful for all his hard work to find us the perfect activities! He went above and beyond to create a memorable family trip. From activities to places to eat - he had all the answers and he is very friendly and never made us feel like we were asking too much. Excited to see the remodel was underway - the updates will be great! We plan to return next year and hope to see Gordon again!
Would not recommend this hotel. Room picture online was much nicer than reality. Bathroom had black mold on ceiling and floors are cold tile. Only plus was close location to seaworld, seaport Village and old town.
