Overnight Work Trip
Monique W

I had a conference to attend in the area and this was a recommended hotel. The staff was incredibly friendly and the facility/property were very clean. It is uniquely built with the the lobby being on the third floor (ground level) and the rooms being on the first. Rooms were also situated into two towers (north and south). If you happen to be in the furthest tower from the structure, it is a very long walk, which I did not do and took full advantage of the valet parking. Check in and check out were very easy and I had no issues. The rooms are very clean and they did have some travel size toiletries in the bathroom (shampoo, conditioner, bar soap for hands and face, lotion, and shower cap). The shower was awesome and no issues with hot water. The only problem I experienced, and it wasn't even a bog problem, was I had a hard time connecting to the wifi, and my entry light (when you first walk in) was not working. Other than that, I recommend sighing up for the Hilton Honors program, you get points and I got a free drink at the cafe in the lobby. The free drink would have also been valid at the bar, but I had dinner plans and couldn't use it. It is in a nice area as well. I did not have a chance to visit the fitness center or any of the restaurants, but the hotel did have all of these amenities. Whenever I travel, I typically will go for a nice and low priced hotel. However this was a work trip, it is a Hilton, and the price reflected it. With that said, I was reimbursed for it, but if I was travelling with friends and/or family, I would have been fine with this hotel and splitting the cost.

Beware of the HIDDEN resort fee

The hidden-yet-mandatory resort fee of $30 fee per night. Plus parking was a minimum of $33/night if you self parked.
Even after I explained the lack of disclosure, the staff's efforts were focused on why the resort fee was a good thing for me. Just disclose it on the website BEFORE booking & I'll decide.
I ended up leaving after one night and went to another nearby hotel

Lovely rooms, food and location

We came for a three-day conference and spent four nights. Comfortable, quiet rooms. Beautiful grounds and sunsets. Lovely pool, and the restaurant was excellent. A buffet breakfast came with, and was a nice spread with lots of fresh fruit and options for vegan and gluten-free folks. Their salads were especially wonderful, and the butternut squash soup was delicious. All the servers were kind and gracious. The first night was outside by a fire pit, enjoying the evening.
