Seniors and Disabled Beware- Terrible Customer Service

We stayed at the Pullman for a conference and were extremely dissatisfied with the overall customer service at the hotel. Our experience was such a disaster that we decided that we will not be staying at this hotel for the conference next year.

When arriving my coworker (who is nearly 80 years old) was told that she had to move rooms in the middle of her stay. My coworker had to miss a portion of the conference because she was busy checking in and out of a new room. Not only were they unapologetic, but they didn't even try to make up for this inconvenience. The least they could have done would be do offer to move their bags- which they refused!

Apparently the entire 4th and 5th floor were completely booked, but it seems there was no communication leading up to this mishap so we could try and find another solution. I would have appreciated a phone call, so I could have volunteered myself. I would have NEVER made my coworker who is elderly and has a hard time getting around have to do something like this.

The treatment of customers, especially those that are senior citizens is deplorable. The fact that they didn't even offer an apology, but continued to say. "This is just the way that is is..." "There's nothing we can do..." "We'll take this into consideration in the future..." IS BS. That is simply not good customer service, and shows that you do not care about retaining loyal customers.

The hotel needs to understand that they have customers that might be elderly or disabled and have a difficult time getting around. Having them move rooms in the middle of their stay is extremely inconvenient. Not only that, but it is dishonest to spring this on people at the last minute. To me it seems that they were worried that we would pull our reservation if we knew of this situation.

As if all of this wasn't bad enough, when checking out we had a $69 bar tab on our account that wasn't from us!

To me there is a lack of organization, customer service and communication within the entire hotel. This seems to trickle down from the Manager who was unapologetic during our entire conversation. Not one apology, not one gesture to make things right. This simply is not okay from a hotel that charges a couple hundred dollars a night. We deserve more for this cost.

When we return for our yearly conference, we will not be staying at the Pullman.

Very comfortable stay

My daughter and I stayed at the Pullman while in SanFran for a tournament. Our entire experience was excellent. I am writing this review especially to praise the staff at the restaurant, all of whom were friendly, attentive and provided excellent service, especially Benny, who served us for dinner several nights. Lovely atmosphere. Great food choices. If back here for another tournament, we would definitely stay here again!

Great Hotel

Hotel was clean and modern, comfy beds, Airport Shuttle was convenient, reception were very helpful rooms were nice and spacious, down in the restaurant food was good, great service by Ahmet E very friendly.
