Dinah's is a Hidden Gem
Reviewed 3 days ago

We traveled to Palo Alto to watch a family member play in a sporting event at Stanford. We found Dinah's on the Stanford website, on a list of recommended hotels near campus. It looked very nice online so we booked a room. From check-in to check-out the experience was very positive. From the professional and courteous staff, the beautiful grounds, the very clean, comfortable and quiet room, to the very reasonable price we couldn't be happier with our stay. We ate breakfast at Dinah's poolside restaurant and had a very nice meal before resuming our travels. Every employee we encountered was friendly and professional. We will come back again and have already started to rave about Dinah's to our family and friends.

Pretty good, but WAY overpriced

I would have given this place a lower rating if it weren't for the fact that the staff were wonderful. The restaurant was awesome. The food was great. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. It would have been a better rating if only... the room was better. The bed was hard as a brick and the marble floors in the entry and bathroom were freezing. The room was also freezing. It was clean and modern-ish, but I would have expected it to go for max $150 a night, NOT $300. It's not like I had a view of anything or a hot tub in my room. Pricing was ridiculous.

What an amazing place to stay, one of a kind!!!

What an amazing stay. The staff is wonderful, the restaurant is fantastic, the pool is heated, the room was amazing, what more do you need?

I stayed for one night only while I was in town for a conference and it exceeded my every expectation. While some peers chose to stay at motels within walking-distance from the conference, I chose this unique establishment 6 miles away from Sunnyvale. I made the right choice! I even spent less money than my colleagues!

Beautiful and serene

After several trips to the area, I was lucky enough to discover Dinah's. Beautiful landscaping, big rooms, working Internet and quiet. I dined at the poolside restaurant first evening and that was good as well.
