Excellent service - great hotel
Reviewed 1 day ago

My husband and I and our 4 kids stayed here for one week over March break. We booked two rooms, and although had called to have rooms side by side, when we arrived the rooms were not adjoining. The person helping us was quickly able to look into and accomodate our request, despite the hotel being busy.

The rooms aren't that big, but the size of the bathroom and closet with drawers are a good size.

The hotel lobby is gorgeous, one of the nicest we have been in. We had coffee/appetizers several late afternoons in the lounge and although the servers seemed a bit preoccupied, overall it was a good experience.

I also went to the Bliss spa at the hotel. Awesome experience!

We ate breakfast several times at Delphine's at the hotel and dinner once as well. It is rather pricey for breakfast, esp since there was 6 of us, but service as food was worth it.

Location is right in touristy section of Hollywood, it was my first time in LA so I loved it. Could walk to several places to eat, plus the CVS came in handy with the kids.

On our last few evenings we went up to the heated and very chic rooftop pool.

Overall fantastic hotel and definitely would be back!

Nice spot and great service

I am typically not a big fan of the W chain as I find the rooms dark and gloomy and the vibe tends to be a bit weird.

However upon checking in the front desk was great - I was upgraded to a suite and the room was fantastic.

I’d stay again.

Perfect location for Tourists.

Beautiful hotel, poor location

The hotel is beautiful! The decor is tasteful and elegant. The rooftop pool is just absolutely breathtaking as there is a view of the city. We went in March so a hot tub would have made the experience even better but the pool was nice and warm. We had booked a city view room but ended up with more of a view of an alley unfortunately. The customer service was just ok nothing too special as we weren't given much info about the hotel. The location is in a ghetto part of the city and we did not feel safe walking around the area at night.

Cool Hotel, but Hollywood Blvd is a let down

This is a trendy hotel with a good central location. The outdoor bar at the rooftop pool and on the ground level is a good place for young people to hang out and look cool. The food is pretty good and not outrageous. This is my 2nd trip here and I really enjoyed my time in the hotel. The Subway station is right out the front door for quick jaunt to Universal Studios. Hollywood Blvd itself has degenerated into rows of homeless people. Very sad.
