Very nice staff and beautiful hotel
Reviewed 22 hours ago

I came to the hotel from a long day of driving 7 hours. I was very stressed and anxious.
Arriving to the hotel, I was greeted by smiling faces and friendly attitudes.
Bobby, the manager and Kiara at the front desk were very kind to me and made me feel welcomed. I am very blown away from the manager. At any hotel I've ever stayed at, Bobby has been the nicest person. I do travel very often and only stay at Marriott's.
I will always remember his kindness and can do attitude.

They honestly took away the stress of traveling. I am glad I booked here.
The hotel is very beautiful and decorated.
Rooms are very well kept, clean and just as beautiful.

Disappointed for a 4 star hotel

Trendy decor in the lobby. Clean, contemporary room with large TV and Netflix access. We were shocked to learn at check-in that parking is $43 extra per day and high speed internet is $17 extra per day!! We booked this hotel because it has a pool so we were extra disappointed to learn that the pool is closed for 2 weeks for upgrades. Guests can use the pool at the Marriott 1 block away which is lovely, but you won’t get any internet access there unless you are a paying guest. The customer service at the Renaissance is good- they discounted our parking to $25/day and covered the cost of our internet due to the inconvenience of the closed pool. I preferred our stay at the Sheraton Gateway.

Incredible bed and beautiful hotel.

On a quick overnight in LA, this hotel is a great find. With a shuttle to and from the hotel (although this was both times I had to use it, and it appears that they need more when the hotel is hosting a conference), a on site bar and restaurant and a fitness centre, it fits the bill.

The restaurant had some incredible food - but if you have allergies or intolerances, beware. When I asked if they were able to provide one of their meals, they said they could - but I ended up sick after the fact. Staff only offered their apologies for the mishap as well.

But the bed. The bed is the star of the show and worth every penny.

Perfect for our day layover

This hotel is clean, modern and comfortable which was such a relief coming from 20+ hours of travel and needing a good rest for our day layover in LA.
I highly recommend for a close to the airport stay!

Only small drawback is our room was not including breakfast and the cost of eating at the buffet is $25 per person which did not look to be worth the money, there are no other walkable options for breakfast close by. Aside from this, an excellent stay and will definitely return!

Terrific service and AMAZING music!

Our stay at the Renaissance was better than expected. The staff is splendid, the food fresh and tasty, and the music in the lounge prompted us to stay for another drink. Relaxing and comfortable, nice fitness center, efficient airport transportation.
