Overview

Luxurious modern sleep in L.A.’s Century City with an infinity pool, divine day spa and balconies or terraces in every guestroom

The Lowdown

Start your stay with a visit to the Spa InterContinental and get the Traveler’s Tonic Massage, a combination of Swedish and deep tissue massage and aromatherapy designed to fight travel fatigue. Spend the afternoon lounging around your private spa villa and making the most of the facilities, which include a sauna, an outdoor Jacuzzi and an infinity pool. Then head to lunch at chef Jonathan Wood’s eclectic Park Grill (breakfast, brunch and dinner are on offer too). Back in your room, take in the views of Hollywood, Downtown or the Pacific Ocean from the comfort of your private balcony or terrace. During the summer you can also get a bird’s-eye view of the city from the 18th-floor helipad, where free yoga classes are held.

In the Area

The concierge recommends beginning the day with a stroll to Clementine restaurant for a healthy breakfast, followed by long walk around one of L.A.’s prettiest green spaces, Holmby Park. If the weather is good, drive up to Zuma Beach in Malibu — pack a picnic lunch or head to Geoffrey’s for California cuisine served alfresco overlooking the Pacific. When you’ve gotten enough sun, make a visit to the Richard Meier-designed Getty Center where the beautiful gardens and gorgeous L.A. views are as impressive as the art collection.

Manage was very accommodating.
Reviewed 3 days ago

I booked a room for my attorney, as it happens with business booking, the itinerary changed many times in a matter of hours. I had initially called the Reservation 800#, who knows where that office is, and they were nice but I waited 58 minutes on the phone while they tried to accommodate my changes. I called the hotel directly and the manager Yanira was helpful, professional and accommodating to all the changes. She handled it quickly and efficiently and I was not put on hold. Thank you so much Yanira for making my day a lot better and relived me from my stress of this booking. Regards Monica

perfect Service at a Beautiful Hotel

The service at this hotel is simply the best! The valet, door, bell, front desk, bar, and housekeeping personnel are professional, cordial, friendly, and informative. The staff mannerfully speaks to each guest and sincerely cares that the guest’s stay is exceptional. The landscape is manicured; swimming pool and gym are first class. You will be pleased with the excellence of this property.

The quality of the staff in this hotel is exceptional, they are all trained to a high standard, are thoughtful caring and always cheerful. They resolved a couple of issues we had, not their fault, in a highly efficient and personal way that made us feel very satisfied. The manager even sent us a personal handwritten note to apologise.

Our only issue was the cost and related to this, the quality of the food. The breakfast buffet costs $34 each and it is really not up to this standard. The choice is wide, including a number of items for Chinese and Japanese guests, but it feels half hearted and looks tired. It was difficult to find good healthy options.

We ate out most times and the concierge was extremely helpful with good recommendations and the courtesy car something we enjoyed.

This is a great hotel, exceptionally well run and this quality shows up the lacklustre food.

Room was beautiful and clean with an amazing view. Perfect location, we actually even ended up walking back from Rodeo Drive one night because it was such A beautiful night.
