Luxurious modern sleep in L.A.’s Century City with an infinity pool, divine day spa and balconies or terraces in every guestroom

The Lowdown

Start your stay with a visit to the Spa InterContinental and get the Traveler’s Tonic Massage, a combination of Swedish and deep tissue massage and aromatherapy designed to fight travel fatigue. Spend the afternoon lounging around your private spa villa and making the most of the facilities, which include a sauna, an outdoor Jacuzzi and an infinity pool. Then head to lunch at chef Jonathan Wood’s eclectic Park Grill (breakfast, brunch and dinner are on offer too). Back in your room, take in the views of Hollywood, Downtown or the Pacific Ocean from the comfort of your private balcony or terrace. During the summer you can also get a bird’s-eye view of the city from the 18th-floor helipad, where free yoga classes are held.

In the Area

The concierge recommends beginning the day with a stroll to Clementine restaurant for a healthy breakfast, followed by long walk around one of L.A.’s prettiest green spaces, Holmby Park. If the weather is good, drive up to Zuma Beach in Malibu — pack a picnic lunch or head to Geoffrey’s for California cuisine served alfresco overlooking the Pacific. When you’ve gotten enough sun, make a visit to the Richard Meier-designed Getty Center where the beautiful gardens and gorgeous L.A. views are as impressive as the art collection.

Amazing Stay
Reviewed 1 day ago

Very spacious & comfortable. Great staff. However, the hotel needs to redecorate certain areas. For example, the wallpaper has seen better days. The pool, lobby, bar, & grounds were great. The food was not. The California roll had a strong fishy taste; the Caesar salad had chunks of garlic; and the pork was overly salty. All in all though, a very good stay!

InterContinental LA

We stayed at the InterContinental in Century City July 10 -12...we had a wonderful experience, particularly with the Yvette in the Copper Lounge. She waited on us for dinner one night and during Happy Hour the next and was a delight! The breakfast buffet was fantastic as was our wait staff...we could not have asked for anything more. We were there on business and it was a very important meeting. Having the ability to relax before and after our meeting helped immensely. The valet staff were also extremely helpful and our check in was very smooth.

Under construction, nice location for Century City and Fox Studios

Great food in restaurant. Had dinner (branzino with Brussel sprouts) and breakfast (bagel with lox). Construction in hotel and with elevators, but my stay wasn’t affected. Glad I was able to check in early (by about 4 hours). Walkable to new mall and Fox Studios. Convenient if you need to be in this area, but not a lot of action outside the hotel. Quiet area, even though it’s more of a business district than residential.

Beautiful Hotel

The balcony was very nice to spend some time after traveling. The food in the restaurant was very good and service was excellent. The hotel was convenient to other locations. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable.

5 star in the middle of nowhere

The hotel is technically in the Hollywood area but has only studios around it. No shops or restaurants or anything. Except studios. It is next to Fox studios. The hotel staff also needs to be sensitised to travellers from non western countries.
