Fun and Hip

We had such a wonderful stay at the Hotel Indigo. Loved the modern hip vibe of the lobby. We initially picked the hotel for the location but the hotel exceeded our expectations. When we checked in, we were upgraded for being IHG members. The executive king room we had on the 13th floor had a view and it was spacious and clean.
We also loved the customer service at this hotel. Susan at the front desk was awesome! She helped us with restaurant recommendations and suggested we try Somi Somi, a soft serve and taiyaki place in Korea town that is one of my all time favorites now.

Overall it was a great stay. We even hung out at the hotel bar which we don't usually do. We opt to go out of the hotel to explore the city but 18 Social had a spectacular view with live music. It was a great place to have drinks and unwind. The only aspect we didn't like about the hotel was the breakfast we ended up not having at the Metropole Bar and Kitchen. I'm not sure what happened but it look us a while to get anyone to seat us even though there were plenty of tables available. When the waitress finally got to us, she looked mildly peeved that we wanted to order off the menu instead of the buffet. She brought us menus but then never came back for our order. After waiting 20 minutes, my husband and I left to find another breakfast place. It was a shame since Hotel Indigo hit all the marks for me as a great hotel. Aside from the hotel restaurant, I would come back to Hotel Indigo next time I'm in LA.

Cool Place

We stayed at Hotel Indigo Downtown LA Aug 3-7. Very nice hotel. The decor is great. We stayed in a corner room, so our room was large and our shower was Enormous! Breakfast was good (we highly recommend the Hulk smoothie). The gym was decent. Staff was exceptional! The valet, front desk, bartenders, servers, even the porters were especially friendly and eager to assist. Very close to the Staples Center and restaurants. The only negative is parking is valet only at $48 per night. However, we never waited more than 2 minutes for our car.

Great Location for a Fantastic hotel

Great Hotel, IHG property close to civic center and the LA downtown club seen and restaurants and shopping. Love this Chic Hotel and the amenities that are on property too. I always stay at the Indigo when I come to downtown LA.
