How to Get There
Extremely happy for coming here. Beside the perfect location and everything being super luxurious, the service was even better, I felt like a celebrity. I brought my niece to the pool and they also made her feel super special. Their Manager Josh even came over and gave her a stuffed animal and a kids drink. That was awesome, he didn’t have to do that. The smile she gave josh was priceless. Really cool of him. She was one happy little girl. My family and I will Always come here. I am beyond impressed!
This review is a love letter to the staff at DH, who have made a raving fan in Anchorage, Alaska 💖. This sixty four year old matron had the rare opportunity to see the millennial ideal manifested over the week I spent with one of my lovely daughters. In an age of unaccountable corporate hotel chains, my expectations have dulled. To find personal service with such passionate conviction is a rare thing which should be celebrated, and my memories will have to sustain me until I can go back and find out what Billie is up to, or what fashion bar of elegance Jen is setting......if I mention everyone I will be here all day. Go there, if only to reassure yourself that the dream is alive.
Based on room alone this deserves 5 stars. However, we were given a room immediately above a very noisy bar/ nightclub On the ground floor which woke us both and kept us awake. The noise must have affected the rooms above and either side of us. There is also a nightclub on the top floor of the hotel.
So, if you’re up for partying - go for it, it’s a lovely hotel in a great location. If you need your sleep, avoid. If you’re not sure, based on our experience avoid the low-numbered rooms on the 3rd, 4th and 5th floors. This corner of the hotel is VERY VERY NOISY LATE INTO THE NIGHT. I cannot emphasise enough how loud it is.
I traveled to LA with my daughter to celebrate my birthday. We stayed at Dream Hollywood. This is one of the nicest hotels I have stayed in. The staff were ALL amazing especially Cassie. Cassie went out of her way to make this a memorable birthday. If you get the chance you have to stay at this hostel. It is simple the best.
As a frequent traveler to LA, I can honestly say The Dream is by far my preferred destination for lodging whenever I'm in the city. The location is prime, the gym is without question the best hotel gym in LA that I've used, the rooftop bar and pool are spectacular, the rooms are premium and most importantly the staff (Vaughn, Steven and the whole team) are always a pleasure. I highly recommend The Dream Hollywood for your next stay!
