Partial ocean view my ass

Staff was very rude & unconcerned that we paid around $500 for a partial ocean view. We got a view & of cars parked on the road on street level. If you stood on your tippy toes, you may have been able to see the ocean ( I doubt that very seriously btw). Don’t waste your money here. it at all!!!! COMPLETE RIP OFF!!!!!

One of our favorite hotels

We travel several times a year with our family. This is one of our favorite places in the world to stay. We stayed for five nights last week and it was one of our best family trips ever. The hotel is in one our favorite locations. The people who work for the hotel went above and beyond to make our trip very special. We can't thank them enough. I would recommend this hotel to anybody traveling to Southern Cal.

Charming Hotel with Top Notch Human Beings on Staff!

I'd been in Rancho Palos Verdes for 10 days for a work conference and came down with a severe case of pneumonia. Advised by the doctor I saw not to travel, I needed to stay in California two extra days before flying home to Chicago. The hotel I was staying at was only able to accommodate me one additional night (which I did not find out until after I'd re-booked my flight home), so I was now sick as a dog and looking for a place for a one-night stay. I'd found Beach House Hotel and called there at 6:30 AM, to see if they had any availability. I'd explained my situation to the gentleman who answered; not only were they able to accommodate me, but he had a room ready for me to check into as early as 9:00 AM. What a lifesaver! I thanked him, profusely, as I was basically dead on my feet and didn't know how I'd be able to wait for a 3:00 PM check in; I just needed to lie down and sleep. Every single person at this hotel was so kind, and caring, and accommodating. Whether it was insisting on helping with my bags, since I was so ill, or quickly bringing me additional tea bags to my room, I felt like I was staying with family. I cannot thank the team here enough for accommodating and taking such great care of me, when I was in desperate need. Even the taxi driver who took me to the airport (who the hotel referred to as their "house drive") was lovely and caring. He, too, made sure I had everything I needed to help combat my pneumonia. The hotel, itself, is in a great location right on the beach. The room was immaculately clean, and had everything you could possibly need (bed, desk, small kitchenette, living area, and balcony overlooking the ocean); it was the most comfortable place at which to hang out, while sick. I'd highly recommend this hotel! Thank you to the incredible team who helped make my stay comfortable and enjoyable, despite being half-dead with pneumonia. :)
